The Good: New England Patriots: Can we just crown them the AFC champions now? It’s only been two games since Tom Brady’s return and already the Patriots look like the team to beat. Rob Gronkowski has come back in full force and everything is trending the Pats way. Even James White showed up to play the last two weeks. At this point, in an NFL season marred by uncertainty, one thing remains constant. The Patriots are still the cream of the crop. Lamar Miller: Yass Lamar! After looking like he was allergic to the end zone, Miller took advantage of an Indianapolis Colts defense that let Jordan Howard average 7.4 yards per carry (YPC) last week. Miller scored not once, but twice completely gashing the Colts all game. Miller has performed consistently throughout the year, he just hasn’t been special. With head coach Bill O’Brien at odds with quarterback Brock Osweiler, look for the Texans to ride Miller until he cools down. Quick Hits: – Cameron Meredith proved all the haters wrong against an average Jaguars pass defense.
