The Chicago Cubs are attempting to keep their season alive and force a winner take all Game 7 in Cleveland on Wednesday. To do that, they have to win Game 6. The Cubs jumped out with 3 runs in the first inning to take a 3-0 lead, but the big blow came from Addison Russell. The 22-year-old shortstop hit a grand slam to put the Cubs ahead 7-0: https://twitter.com/Cubs/status/793623307241127936 It was the first grand slam in the World Series since Paul Konerko’s for the White Sox in 2005. Russell also became the second youngest player to hit a grand slam in the World Series. https://twitter.com/Buster_ESPN/status/793623036125712384 Oh yeah, the Cubs got Russell in a trade from the Oakland Athletics for starters Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel.
