Credit the NFL for doing something right, as this week players around the league will wear custom cleats, and the Cowboys are giving back with theirs Sunday.
The NFL is encouraging a campaign called “My Cause, My Cleats,” and what it does is encourage players to wear custom shoes which support a charity of their choice.
Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott is campaigning against animal cruelty and asking to adopt from shelters with the cleats that he’s wearing, showing off a pic of his dog Ace.
On the cleats he’s got paw prints, dog bones and the words “Adopt, Volunteer, Prevent Cruelty.”
Props to Elliott, and it will be cool to see what some of the other NFL players come up with around the league for the event this weekend.
