LONDON – It was a cold, dim, grey, typical late October English afternoon. Yet as ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ rang around Wembley Stadium, 85,000 Brits held up colored panels to display the famous stars and stripes and honor the players of a sport from a distant shore. It was not a typical English affair.  Washington vs Cincinnati Game The 17th game of the NFL International Series, and the final London game of the 2016 season, was a celebration of all London has witnessed in the time it has been borrowing a few football games from its cousins across the pond. In the latest Wembley matchup, between the Washington Football Team and the Cincinnati Bengals, all who were present witnessed a high scoring, entertaining matchup which saw the 100th touchdown of the International Series scored and also its very first tie.
