HBelieve it or not, the playoffs are approaching. Bye weeks are just about finished, so once you make your waiver wire changes this week, you’re likely going to have to stick with what you’ve got.

Hopefully, at this point in the season you won’t have to make many changes. But if you do, we have you covered.

Here are some fantasy links that will hopefully help you win in Week 10.

Gase: ‘I’m never going to go away from Ajayi’

According to, “Dolphins coach Adam Gase said he is ‘never going to go away’ from Jay Ajayi.”

I don’t blame him. In the last three games, Ajayi has taken the opportunity given him because of Arian Foster‘s injury/retirement and hasn’t looked back for a second.

In his first four games of the year, Ajayi rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns (3.7 yards per carry). However, in the last three weeks, he’s exploded for 529 yards and four touchdowns (6.9 yards per carry).

At the midway point of the season, how players and teams perform is a pretty good indicator of how they’ll finish the season. Especially with the head coach’s vote of confidence, it’s safe to say Ajayi is a top-tier RB1 for the rest of the year.

The downside to Ajayi’s dominance is that players like Ryan Tannehill and Jarvis Landry won’t see as many fantasy points. Even if Ajayi gets hurt, the Dolphins offensive line is in such a groove that Gase would be wise to run the ball as much as the score will allow.

For what it’s worth, according to the Dolphins’ depth chart, Ajayi’s backup is Damien Williams. He’s not close to taking touches away from Ajayi, but if you have a roster spot to spare, adding Williams wouldn’t be a bad move.

Report: Talib will be sidelined through bye

The Denver Broncos have what many consider to be the best secondary in football. Probably the best player in that secondary, cornerback Aqib Talib, has an injured back and is missing critical time.

“Denver 7’s Troy Renck reports Aqib Talib (back) will be sidelined through the Broncos’ Week 11 bye.”–

That means Talib will have missed four weeks total (three games) by the time Week 12 begins. Denver is now 6-3, in 3rd place in the AFC West, and is holding onto the 6th seed in the AFC playoff race. They host Kansas City in Week 12.

He’s intercepted three passes and defensed 11 in seven games. The Denver defense is still going to be good, but without Talib, they’ll take a considerable step back.

The next game on Denver’s schedule is when they travel to New Orleans this Sunday, so scoop up any Saints you can. Drew Brees is still elite and really likes to spread the ball around. He’s an equal opportunity passer.

If there was any time to take a chance against Denver’s defense, it’s now.

Fantasy Football Week 10 waiver wire quick reaction: Ertz, Ebron show off

The tight end position is one that’s a bit of an enigma. Unless you have Rob Gronkowski or Greg Olsen on your team, you’re likely scrambling for a new tight end or evaluating the position each week.

Good news: Chris Towers of CBS Sports has a solution. When looking for additions to your team, elite players aren’t available. So, you need to look weigh the pros and cons of the potential roster move.

As Towers points out, Eric Ebron or Zach Ertz would be a strong addition to your lineup. Both players play on offenses that like to pass the ball (or are trailing late in games, necessitating more passes than runs). They’re young, but have done enough to show they’re an above-average option at their position.

Towers shows us that Ebron (60 percent) and Ertz (51 percent) should still be available in many leagues. They both topped 90 yards receiving in Week 9, so it’s in your best interest to act quickly.
