I am voting for Coakley because she has spent decades defending children, taxpayers, and the working people in our state. When she was DA she led the fight to bring sexual offenders including priests to trial. She also went after companies who falsely profited from the Big Dig. As Attorney General, she went after banks in our state who were involved in making bad loans, and she made them pay HUGE fines. She may not be good about communicating and bragging about all that she's accomplished, but the fact is she has spent decades working for the good people of Massachusetts. Who is Scott Brown? Never heard of him.

Not only is Scott Brown a superior leader (Proven in his military service) a free thinker (proven by his opposition of the Massachusetts political machine) and a good person (proven by his words) but he is the start of a revolution in political accountability. We elected one party to power in a land slide just 1 year ago. Scott Browns election will put all parties on notice: serve the will of the people or swiftly loose your power. Martha Coakley pushed for the conviction of a man from my town who defended him self from an attacker. She has been an Obama-Pelosi zombie for the last 12 months and has treated this election like she is the anointed successor to the Kennedy Dynasty. Last time I checked, above all issues and political arguments, the Kennedy's stood up for Democracy. Were JFK alive today he would support Scott Brown (particularly after Martha Coakley's comments about Catholics).

That should be the kiss of death for Brown. Once Democrats become aware of Lieberman's support they should run, not walk, to support Coakley. Having voted for Lieberman many times, I have become aware of his true colors. Democrats in Massachusetts have to wake up and get Coakley in office and keep this conservative malarkey out of prominence. I hope the Dems up in Mass realize that courting the Conservatives will put them in line with the dumbells who would align them with the Queen of Stupid, Sista Sarah. Isn't she showing herself to be a genius as a commentator on Fox? If you hate this country, you think she is someone who deserves to be in national office. she couldn't stick it out in Alaska. I admire Joe Lieberman & his stance on national security & he has certainly shown that party affiliation is no obstacle to his doing what he perceivesto be the right thing. I'm voting for Brown on Tuesday because he is right on the issues. While endorsements can help or hurt candidates it seems to me that Scott Brown has made this run on his own and has been pleasantly surprised to find that many Massachusetts voters share his views. That's what will win him the Senate seat if he wins it. So it's fine to hear the views of other politicians but it's Scott Brown who has earned my vote. Mary F.

Coakley gaffe o-meter is on title, says/thinks there are no terrorists in Afghanistan, says Catholics shouldn't work in the ER, misspelled Massachusetts in an ad, had to pull an ad that used images of the world trade center to bash Brown. She's stupid and desperate. Her track record as AJ and not taking important cases where Democratic officials were involved is obviously biased and she's simply part of the Dem political machine and Mass. is finally tired of that. I'm in Boston visiting family this week and two things I've noticed, the number of Coakley attack ads against Brown, amazing, she's running them back to back and in an hour, you'll see (no kidding) 8-10 Coakley attack ads and only 4-5 Brown ads. The Dem money machine is in full swing trying to get her in the office, but Brown is winning simply because he's good, new, and has the majority of the people of Mass. behind him. Hence the second thing I've noticed, tons of citizens on the sides of the wintry snowbanked streets standing with Scott Brown signs....some with flags....it's really moving and great....and yet I've literally seen NO Coakley signs. She's toast. We're going to see some change alright!

That has never been more evident than in their approach to health care reform. Midnight votes when they hope no one is watching and closed door meetings limited only to Democrats is not the formula for crafting a bill that really accomplishes something. Do they really believe that all Republican ideas are completely without merit and should not even be considered? They have lied about the cost. For example, the doctor fix legislation artificially moved $200 billion of costs to another bill to make it look like the health care legislation meets the President's price target. They claim they are going to cut $500 billion for an already insolvent program to fund health care reform. Not sure how you cut $500 billion that does not exist from a program that does not have any money and use that non-existent money to fund another program (oh by he way, taking the $500 billion from the insolvent medicare system is also going to miraculously save the program). All of this also assumes that the Democratic Congress can actually cut spending and that they can accurately forecast the future costs of social programs when they have historically failed miserably on both counts. If you listen to Scott Brown's position on health care, he is not opposed health care reform. He is opposed to the one sided Democratic bill that shut out all competing ideas, cut special deals ("bribes") and carves out exemptions for special interest groups (unions). If their ideas are so fair and wonderful, why do they have to issue payoffs to get votes and why should unions be exempt. A vote for Scott Brown is not a vote to kill health care reform. It is a vote that says we want real reform with honest cost assessments and all ideas on the table and shared sacrifice by everyone, with no exclusions or exemptions for politically favored groups. Neither party has a monopoly on good ideas. Bottom line is that a vote for Scott Brown will send a resounding message to Washington that we want a real reform bill that lowers costs and provides coverage with no accounting gimmicks or smoke and mirrors.

From Connecticut here- I would like to have seen Joe Lieberman endorse Scott Brown but Joe is protecting his committee chairmanship. Joe should see the handwriting on the wall and get on board with the Republicans. The question is which Democrats are going to be trampled as they all rush to exit Obama's agenda and Obamacare implodes. 2010 will see the House turn over, the Democrats hanging onto a 1 vote majority in the Senate if they're lucky and Hillary bailing out over the summer and starting her run for 2012.
