Lexington, MA- The historical Scott Brown vs Martha Coakley for Senate Election may end in one of the greatest political upsets in recent memory. Latest Polls show a surge by Republican Candidate Scott Brown over his Democratic Candidate opponent Martha Coakley.
The Daily Caller reports a poll conducted on Saturday and Sunday reveals a significant lead for Scott Brown in the race for the vacated Massachusetts Senate Seat. The Poll was conducted by Public Policy Polling of 1,231 likely voters.
The poll results show a 51-46 lead for Scott Brown reflecting the latest 10 day surge in support among Massachusetts Voters for the Republican Candidate for Senate.

Other notable stats within the Poll:
Brown is up 64-32 with independents
56% of voters in the state think Brown has made a strong case for why he should be elected
41% of voters in the state think Coakley has made a strong case for why she should be elected
If Scott Brown is victorious in the upcoming Senate Special Election it will be the third Massachusetts shot heard round the world.
The first was the shot fired on April 19, 1775 in Lexington and Concord to start the American Revolution.
The second was October 22, 1975 at 12:34 AM in the 1975 Game 6 Carlton Fisk Home Run to beat the Cincinnati Reds. Video Below at 2 minute:
The Third may arrive on January 19, 2010 in the form of Scott Brown defeating Martha Coakley in the Senate Election to replace the late Edward Kennedy.
