Hartford, CT- Joe Lieberman may be close to announcing his suppport for Massachusetts Senate Candidate Scott Brown. Citing the historical Healthcare Reform Bill as the main issue attracting Lieberman to endorse Brown's Campaign. Scott Brown is vehemently opposed to the proposed Healthcare Legislation.
Joe Lieberman has run against many of his Democratic Counterparts in the Senate over the so called Obamacare Health Care Reform Bill. Back in December, with the public option dead, Democrats revived an old proposal to expand Medicare, but Lieberman voted no. That plan was considered by a small percentage of liberals as a decent alternative to the public option leaving Lieberman at odds with Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid.
Speculation is such that if Lieberman were to endorse Scott Brown over the coming weekend that would most likely seal the defeat of Martha Coakley for Senate.
Latest Polling has Brown leading Coakley by a margin of 1 to 4 points. Momentum has shifted dramaticllay in the past week resulting in overwhelming national media attention. At stake is Helathcare Reform as well as further momentum for the GOP in the upcoming mid term elections.

Senator Lieberman, Why do we have to wait for Scott Brown to win the seat? Why don't you man up and vote NO on the upcoming health bill? You know in your heart it's not a good bill. Come on Joe!!!Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
Brown want's the recrimination Marijuana is Massachusetts. I think everybody is mass is so pissed that they were sold out by the Dems to big insurance that they have LOST their mind by supporting this super conservative who does not Represent mass in ANY other way. Wake up Mass their is a THIRD part candidate called Joe Kennedy who does not support this Health Care bill is an independent, does not have corrupt Washington blood in his veins and believes marijuana should be legal like the Majority of Americans. It is sickening to see people are so foolish that the will keep ping ponging back and forth from the these two corrupt political parties. WE NEED A THIRD PARTY.Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
Interesting that Lieberman is supporting Brown, but even more interesting that the MSM is not covering Brown. TellingPosted by Anonymous on Monday, January 18, 2010

Not only is Scott Brown a superior leader (Proven in his military service) a free thinker (proven by his opposition of the Massachusetts political machine) and a good person (proven by his words) but he is the start of a revolution in political accountability. We elected one party to power in a land slide just 1 year ago. Scott Browns election will put all parties on notice: serve the will of the people or swiftly loose your power. Martha Coakley pushed for the conviction of a man from my town who defended him self from an attacker. She has been an Obama-Pelosi zombie for the last 12 months and has treated this election like she is the anointed successor to the Kennedy Dynasty. Last time I checked, above all issues and political arguments, the Kennedy's stood up for Democracy. Were JFK alive today he would support Scott Brown (particularly after Martha Coakley's comments about Catholics).Posted by TJefferson on Sunday, January 17, 2010
Coakley gaffe o-meter is on title, says/thinks there are no terrorists in Afghanistan, says Catholics shouldn't work in the ER, misspelled Massachusetts in an ad, had to pull an ad that used images of the world trade center to bash Brown. She's stupid and desperate. Her track record as AJ and not taking important cases where Democratic officials were involved is obviously biased and she's simply part of the Dem political machine and Mass. is finally tired of that. I'm in Boston visiting family this week and two things I've noticed, the number of Coakley attack ads against Brown, amazing, she's running them back to back and in an hour, you'll see (no kidding) 8-10 Coakley attack ads and only 4-5 Brown ads. The Dem money machine is in full swing trying to get her in the office, but Brown is winning simply because he's good, new, and has the majority of the people of Mass. behind him. Hence the second thing I've noticed, tons of citizens on the sides of the wintry snowbanked streets standing with Scott Brown signs....some with flags....it's really moving and great....and yet I've literally seen NO Coakley signs. She's toast. We're going to see some change alright!Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
That should be the kiss of death for Brown. Once Democrats become aware of Lieberman's support they should run, not walk, to support Coakley. Having voted for Lieberman many times, I have become aware of his true colors. Democrats in Massachusetts have to wake up and get Coakley in office and keep this conservative malarkey out of prominence. I hope the Dems up in Mass realize that courting the Conservatives will put them in line with the dumbells who would align them with the Queen of Stupid, Sista Sarah. Isn't she showing herself to be a genius as a commentator on Fox? If you hate this country, you think she is someone who deserves to be in national office. she couldn't stick it out in Alaska. She sucks.Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
As an Independent I notice how vulgar true Dems get. Bush sucks, Sarah Sucks etc. Large gov,t is a cancer on all of us--Maybe rich people do suck but they hire and pay taxes--Last I saw Alaska has a surplus. Why does the main street media and die hard dems use demonizing, instead of discussing the issues--Scott Brown has a grass roots uprising. News flash just like the British red coats the dems are not going to stop him. Tuesday will be the shot heard around the world !!!!Posted by WillyD on Sunday, January 17, 2010
pah lease. Haiti revaged by wealthy businessmen? They were thugs and cheaters. Too bad the previous writer probably was a product of the american public school system or they might have learned something...like say history? What the people in Haiti need is the same thing we need here: a functioning government for the people and by the people. The government is supposed to protect us from others not to protect each individual from themselves. We should all be free to make our own choices and responsible enough to deal with the consequences. Smoke, Drink, die young. Choices someone can make but not a problem I should have to pay for. Yeah yeah yeah, not the same as helping someone who needs help. Good bless America and God bless the people of Haiti. I hope you will be moved to donate generously to the people of Haiti in their suffering. Again, a choice you are free to make.Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 18, 2010
Super Tuesday , the big day, when the house and senate have a come to Jesus moment, a real smack down! So far they have been lock step with the motor mouth in chief but come Tuesday he will run out of gas or kick in the nitrous. Either way,I liked that shot heard round the world comment. Joe's endorsement will be holding up the vote until Brown is seated.Posted by Gabby on Sunday, January 17, 2010
I am voting for Coakley because she has spent decades defending children, taxpayers, and the working people in our state. When she was DA she led the fight to bring sexual offenders including priests to trial. She also went after companies who falsely profited from the Big Dig. As Attorney General, she went after banks in our state who were involved in making bad loans, and she made them pay HUGE fines. She may not be good about communicating and bragging about all that she's accomplished, but the fact is she has spent decades working for the good people of Massachusetts. Who is Scott Brown? Never heard of him.Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
1-17-10 (Call aired today on Rev. Jesse Jackson‘s radio show “Keep Hope Alive” … not on tape) I often wonder what the late great Martin Luther KING JR. WOULD SAY ABOUT THE PRESENT STATE OF OUR WORLD. All the news reports from Haiti with the pictures of suffering, devastation are almost too much to take. I hope all Americans donate to help these poor people. My heart goes out to the citizens of Haiti. But I can’t help worrying about the American PEOPLE at this critical time in history. In GOD’s name and all that is holy I pray the voters of Massachusetts get out this Tuesday to support Democrat Martha Coakley filling the senate seat of the late Edward M. Kennedy. The Democratic majority is such a fragile thing this one election could affect the whole nation. I feel in my heart if Republicans take back the Congress… Then the USA will be ruined and end up a poverty stricken country not unlike the Haitian model of a nation ravaged by wealthy business men. Have a great Martin Luther King Jr. Day... consciousmc.blogspot.comPosted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 19, 2010
From Connecticut here- I would like to have seen Joe Lieberman endorse Scott Brown but Joe is protecting his committee chairmanship. Joe should see the handwriting on the wall and get on board with the Republicans. The question is which Democrats are going to be trampled as they all rush to exit Obama's agenda and Obamacare implodes. 2010 will see the House turn over, the Democrats hanging onto a 1 vote majority in the Senate if they're lucky and Hillary bailing out over the summer and starting her run for 2012. Scott Brown is like an cold bucket of Boston Harbor water dumped on the Democrats tanning themselves at the beach in Malibu. GO MA.Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
Is he going to stand next to the President on Sunday and endorse Brown while Obama endorses Coakley? Hard to picture. Maybe he's going to wait until Monday? He better get off the dime or this is just Wishful Thinking.com!Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010
The Democrats have shown incredible arrogance assuming, as always, that they have the one true answer to all of the nations challenges. That has never been more evident than in their approach to health care reform. Midnight votes when they hope no one is watching and closed door meetings limited only to Democrats is not the formula for crafting a bill that really accomplishes something. Do they really believe that all Republican ideas are completely without merit and should not even be considered? They have lied about the cost. For example, the doctor fix legislation artificially moved $200 billion of costs to another bill to make it look like the health care legislation meets the President's price target. They claim they are going to cut $500 billion for an already insolvent program to fund health care reform. Not sure how you cut $500 billion that does not exist from a program that does not have any money and use that non-existent money to fund another program (oh by he way, taking the $500 billion from the insolvent medicare system is also going to miraculously save the program). All of this also assumes that the Democratic Congress can actually cut spending and that they can accurately forecast the future costs of social programs when they have historically failed miserably on both counts. If you listen to Scott Brown's position on health care, he is not opposed health care reform. He is opposed to the one sided Democratic bill that shut out all competing ideas, cut special deals ("bribes") and carves out exemptions for special interest groups (unions). If their ideas are so fair and wonderful, why do they have to issue payoffs to get votes and why should unions be exempt. A vote for Scott Brown is not a vote to kill health care reform. It is a vote that says we want real reform with honest cost assessments and all ideas on the table and shared sacrifice by everyone, with no exclusions or exemptions for politically favored groups. Neither party has a monopoly on good ideas. Bottom line is that a vote for Scott Brown will send a resounding message to Washington that we want a real reform bill that lowers costs and provides coverage with no accounting gimmicks or smoke and mirrors.Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, January 17, 2010

I admire Joe Lieberman & his stance on national security & he has certainly shown that party affiliation is no obstacle to his doing what he perceivesto be the right thing. I'm voting for Brown on Tuesday because he is right on the issues. While endorsements can help or hurt candidates it seems to me that Scott Brown has made this run on his own and has been pleasantly surprised to find that many Massachusetts voters share his views. That's what will win him the Senate seat if he wins it. So it's fine to hear the views of other politicians but it's Scott Brown who has earned my vote. Mary F.
