Washington, DC - The MSNBC leftist political commentator continued his downward spiral last night, losing what little respect ordinary Americans had for his position as a national political commentator.

The post State of The Union Speech analysis was punctuated by his commentary about Barack Obama's race.  Chris Matthews statement that "he forgot he was black" was telling in the methodology in which liberals continue to foster a racist environment in repeatedly backhanded accusations of racism by any person on the right side of the political spectrum.

Repeatedly ranting using terms like "post racial" and "tribalism" and "ethnicity", he took a page out of the liberal playbook implying racism against anybody who does not back the liberal agenda.

Other MSNBC liberal commentators Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann cheered him on.

He stated in an interview in 2008 with Bill Maher that he "made a commitment to covering politics in a liberal way, starting in 1987, and [he is] honoring that commitment".

He held to that conviction last night.
