Norman Rockwell Gets Google Nod on His Birthday
Google is famous for marking major holidays on its search engine home page with special icons. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, New Year's.
But today, Feb. 3, is the famed American icon Norman Rockwell's birthday. Google has marked the occasion with one of Rockwell's indelible images of Americana.
The image is a picture of a little boy and girl, entitled "Little Spooners." Google's regular search engine icon, for today at least--is replaced by an image of a boy and girl watching the setting sun.
The image can be seen by going to www.google.com.
