Democratic Representative John Jack Murtha of Pennsylvania passed away yesterday at the age of 77.  Murtha was best known in the recent past as a staunch opponent of the Iraqi War.  Jack Murtha originally supported the Bush Administrations War on Iraq.  Then in 2005, growing weary of the stresses of the War, he reversed course and became a vocal opponent of the war.
