Palestinians should resort to 3rd intifada to protect heritage -- HAMAS

GAZA, March 6 (KUNA) -- Speaker of Hamas at the legislative council, Salah Al-Bardawil called here Saturday for the initiation of a third intifada to protect the Islamic heritage sites in Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and other areas.
Speaking during a rally in Khan Yunis city, Gaza Strip, Bardawil noted that Islamic heritage sites had been under continuous threat from the Israeli government which is trying to add such sites to its national heritage locations.
The official criticized the Arab and Islamic states' silence over the issue, saying that their silence provided a green light for Israel to continue their violations.
