On page 18 of The Sunday Times News section, there is an interesting article on drones being test flown from Aberporth. There is a history, on this site, of a number of sightings around this area in the last few years.

The UAV’s being tested included the radar bearing Falco for SAR duties.

The Crex-B fixed wing surveillance aircraft which has the rough shape of a “boomerang” (Shades of contributors in London) it also looks very quiet.

The Asio dubbed the flying dustbin, which can take off and land vertically. What it does, I do not know? Was this the object that lit up a field in one of the sightings in the Aberporth area, or possibly featured in a Manchester sighting moving past a hotel window?.

Something to bear in mind when we comment on future sightings. Nemo
