SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Ammoland.Com) On this week’s The Sporting Chef presented by Camp Chef, host Scott Leysath channels his inner Bill Dance for bass fishing, but unlike Dance, Leysath intends on keeping a few of the smaller ones to create a shore lunch of fried bass wraps. Plus, sporting friends Susie Jimenez has a simple cooking tip, Cee Dub makes camp sauerkraut soup and of course, Buddy does what he does best. Tune in to The Sporting Chef exclusively on Sportsman Channel on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. ET with additional airtimes of Mondays at 4 p.m., Wednesdays at 9 a.m. and Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. ET.

“The key to great tasting fried fish is to season the fish and not the flour. You do this because when you fry, some of that flour falls off and poof, goes your seasoning,” said Leysath.
