Chip Hunnicutt Joins Arcus Hunting as Director of Marketing

Arcus Hunting LogoCOVINGTON, Ga. -( Arcus Hunting LLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Chip Hunnicutt to the position of Director of Marketing effective November 1.

Hunnicutt joins the company from Crosman Corporation, where he was most recently Marketing Manager.

Arcus Hunting designs and manufacturers products for hunters under the brands Tink’s, Dead Down Wind, Obsession Bows, RamCat Broadheads, Trophy Taker and Big Game Butter.

Hunnicutt will report to Phil Robinson, President of Arcus Hunting.

“Chip’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Arcus Hunting team and we are very fortunate that we were able to find someone of his caliber to fulfill this role”, says Robinson. “His skill set spans all aspects of marketing and we’re very excited that he has joined our team.”

Hunnicutt has a proven track record of success in marketing strategy, brand positioning and communications.

He was instrumental in positioning Crosman’s dormant Benjamin brand as the dominant name in hunting airguns and airbows.

Prior to joining Crosman, he served in various marketing and licensing roles and developed the leading iPhone application for scoring big game animals according to Boone & Crockett and SCI methods.

“Arcus has put together a world-class team to lead its highly regarded portfolio of brands and I look forward to joining this group and expanding their influence in the outdoor market”, said Hunnicutt.

Hunnicutt will be relocating to Covington, Georgia and is an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

He has four animals listed in the SCI record book plus the largest whitetail taken in South Carolina with an airgun.

Hunnicutt holds an M.S.S. degree from the United States Sports Academy and his undergraduate work was completed from the College of Charleston in Business.

He is most proud of his twin five-year old children, Whip and Amelia.
