Today was the official unveiling of the new Jack Mountain Bushcraft School Journeyman Certification Workbook, a 316 page tome written by Ben Spencer over the winter. It’s big, detailed and ambitious, and just in time for the beginning of our 20th year.

It’s existence has been rumored for several weeks, but was not confirmed until today’s unveiling ceremony. The photo above was taken by a private investigator who went under cover and infiltrated the Jack Mountain tower, the highest building in the Masardis-Ashland-Garfield tri-city area known for it’s tight security standards. You can tell this because of how the picture was taken in a dark office with a penlight for illumination.

We’re streamlining the process of documenting learning and experience. The goal is to allow students to focus on the information and experience. It’s the next step in our offering of standards-based, professional training.
