Of course, a real horoscope is more than your sun sign. However, even if you don’t know other aspects of your chart, your sun sign provides plenty of great travel ideas. If you know your moon, ascendant and other signs, you can fine-tune your choices for the perfect vacation experience.

Aries (March 21 – April 19) is ruled by the active planet Mars and the element of fire. Leadership and dynamic action are important to the Aries character. They enjoy new places and physical challenge. Consider camping and trail hiking, mountain climbing and sailing. Vivid colors and bright, exciting spectacles appeal to many Aries. Think about Mardi Gras in Rio, active volcanoes in Costa Rica, white water rafting in the grand canyon, surfing lesson in Hawaii or a Holi celebration in India. Many Aries also want to give back, so a volunteer vacation is a good option.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20), ruled by romantic Venus and the element of earth, is associated with stability, creative expression and sensual pleasure.
