(Before It's News)
Capitalizing on the success of Morning Glory and her other restaurants in Hoi An – Ms Vy’s latest venture is a restaurant called Vy’s Market Restaurant. Vy’s Market is a bit like a hotel buffet restaurant where you can eat as much as you like, but here you can also order a la carte.
There are different cooking stations for different types of Vietnamese dishes – ranging from fried treats, hot pots, grilled treats, soups & noodles, daily worker meals to curries and sandwiches. The range is quite bewildering and you can feel a bit like a kid in a candy store not knowing what to order. All the dishes are cooked to order and it is great to be able to see them being prepared right in front of you.
Vy’s Market also runs cooking classes that are combined with a meal in the restaurant. It is a great way to enjoy the flavours of Hoi An and at the same time learn a bit about of the local food culture.
