Why We Need Ron Paul in 2012

When a free market substantially independent of government exists, the best and brightest do not gravitate towards government, but instead are drawn to the marketplace.  This is because the marketplace offers rewards commensurate with ingenuity and where true elites know that can best serve humanity. It is also in such a state of affairs that humanity is best served.  The elite know this.

The elite also know that political power only allows those who seek office to confiscate wealth from producers and redistribute it to non-producers whom are either individuals or businesses that cannot successfully compete in the marketplace without government intervention.  It is through politics and the accumulation of increasingly expanding yet concentrating power and totalitarianism that wealth and productivity are consumed as individuals and businesses that are the wealth creators are forced to surrender wealth for redistribution to those whom are wealth consumers.

It matters not whether confiscation and redistribution are done at the individual level in the form of social aid, or done in the aggregate through taxes on or subsidies for business.  The truth of the matter is that government has nothing of its own and must confiscate from producers to fund itself and redistribute wealth.  Furthermore, the elite know politicians are a dime a dozen, and therefore know it makes more economic sense to buy a politician than it does to spend all your time being one.  As politicians are a product of society, like any product they are bought and sold by those who control the system.  Yet, even with the elite being able to buy and sell even the highest and most powerful political figures, it is a true free market system that protects the masses from the elite as they try to find more innovative ways to serve humanity instead of making the masses serve them.

These elites work on devising ways to put together products like cars and electronics that make life so much more productive and rewarding that they have altered the world.  The poorest individual now has access to the greatest literary, scientific, economic, artistic and political works accumulated throughout history.  From the most amusing comedian to the greatest escapist video game, from the political wisdom garnered through the recorded history of humanity to current social networking, from being able to watch the creativity of the masses to being able to post your political manifesto, the internet and other electronics have allowed unprecedented opportunities to understanding and creativity.  The greatest minds have developed products that work every time almost without fail for a price that the very poorest can afford.  Name one politician whose efforts have been as meaningful as the contribution of those responsible for the information and electronics age.

Does anyone think that the world would be a better place if Bill Gates gotten out of the computer business and decided to be in government?  Imagine if Gates decided to be an actor and use his image to become o the governor of California.  Could anyone possibly think the world be better off if Gates decided to be a community organizer and leverage that into a presidency?  Would any think America would have been a better place if Bill Gates had the political establishment ordain his child to follow his presidency or his wife to be appointed as Secretary of State?  Would Americans be richer if Gates had decided to quit a political job such the governorship of Alaska to work a book deal while babbling and pandering for Fox News?  When thought of in that perspective, one can truly understand the marginal utility of politicians and their inability to create wealth.  The thought of politicians creating wealth or doing anything economically beneficial should be recognized as an absurdity.

The law of marginal utility holds that the more units you have of an item, the less each succeeding item is valued.  This is especially true of politicians.  It is easily demonstrable that more than two politicians render all the rest at best, totally worthless, and at worst, a force for evil.

In the free market the truly superior intellects are free to engage in unlimited economic means with the only restraint being the extent to which the masses they aim to serve decide to ignore their economic endeavors.  It is the free market’s state of nature that makes the elite the servant of the masses.  It is only through demagoguery, lies and pandering that the lesser elites seek self-aggrandizement through the empowerment of their petty minions to assist them in gaining rule over the masses through governmental power.  When was the last time Bill Gates made someone, through the threat of or use of force, work for him or in an effort to coerce someone to buy a Microsoft product?

Conversely, those who seek political power are constantly making people work or surrender wealth and liberty for their decrees, ideology, arbitrary and petty displays of self-importance and power, or for the purpose of using force to attempt some sort of social engineering, political ideology, or for the economic benefits other than that of the producer.  Political masters, a much lower second tier of elites, gain power through lies, deception and demagoguery.  If an entrepreneur relied on such methods to run a business he would end up bankrupt and most likely be jailed for fraud, yet deceptive practices are the norm for rising to political preeminence.

Business ingenuity, technology and its associated markets branch and sequence to form complicated webs of human dealings that create a state of affairs that allow for the lessers to find and fill market niches resulting from the increased opportunity provided by the elites.  Conversely, as government grows, in its malignancy it creates an exponential growth in laws and regulation it seeks to foist on others for the purpose of confiscating and redistributing wealth.  It is all the government knows how to do, and hence their stock in trade to the detriment of producers.  It is the least creative and intelligent whom seek to fill government jobs from mayor and councilman to policeman and dog-catcher.

Attempts constantly made by government to overrule economic laws and human nature are little more than a revolt against reason that can only be sustained through lies or the threat and use of violence.  This revolt results in black markets, an increase in the number of laws, a corresponding loss of liberty and an increase in the severity of punishment for legal infractions, while those who serve such power always end up working for the benefit of a monopoly on the use of violence and for the enrichment of a parasitic class and at the expense of producers.

Such a situation exists in our financial markets run through the Federal Reserve and its enforcement arm, the IRS.  The lower tier of the elite have partnered with government to create a monopoly on money through a banking cartel that requires society to pay for the ability to conduct the valuation and exchange of resources, material and labor.  In doing so they have also created and strengthened a regulatory agency that has become one of the most arbitrary, abusive and unaccountable tools of tyranny in the arsenal of a government.  It is a tool of tyranny that is ever-expanding to control every facet of our lives and whose authority is extra-constitutional.  This state of affairs has resulted in the U.S. becoming a nation governed by the rule of men as opposed a nation under the rule of law.  In order to do this, the banking system, through its enforcement arm, that being the IRS, a mechanism through which judges are paid, has partnered itself with the judicial branch of government to serve as a societal method of control that provides the appearance of legitimacy to the ignorant masses.

Do Americans realize that it is actually possible to have a system of competing currencies that Americans can chose between based on one’s ability to maintain value and not be subject to being reproduced by a banking system that is private, secret, unaccountable and capable of printing the monetary unit to the tune of trillions of dollars thereby stealing trillions of dollars in wealth and naming such counterfeiting the misnomer “quantitative easing”.

When considering this situation, is it really any wonder why liberty is trampled, the politically powerful have become unaccountable and their rule has become increasingly powerful, arbitrary and abusive?  Moreover, it is not tapering off, but instead it is becoming a metastasizing malignancy that is choking off even the chance at having an  opportunity for change in this country.  Such was the state of affairs in the Soviet Union.  People just let the government have its way until the system collapsed.

When government decides it would rather side with its minions than support the U.S. Constitution, often times just to show those who stand on principle government can do what it wants, the implications are far-reaching.  People expect government to protect their rights not so much from criminals, as that is a no-brainer, but from those who would abuse their office or authority for the parochial or even petty interests of those who seek to dominate through the use of force.  When people assert their rights, they are making a claim on government for the use of force to protect property.  It is a fact that legal rights are property and are something to which all free men claim ownership.  If government does not respect rights, it does not respect property.  If the IRS can act outside the U.S. Constitution, then everything is a rigged game for the benefit of the elite.  If police are not restrained by the Constitutional, we live under tyranny.  If judges refuse to hold police accountable for perjury, then law enforcement has turned into a racket.

We have one election left before freedom and liberty become sacrificed on the alter of the state.  We have allowed those in power to pander to the masses and engage in demagoguery while driving this nation to ruin.  There is only one candidate that fights to role back the state and all it attendant evils.  I pray our nation will have sufficient patriots to oppose those who seek life-long employment through service to the state.  Such people have eaten away at the sustenance of the people and have turned our country into what is rapidly becoming a failed state.  The people in charge of this country, the Federal Reserve, police, the IRS and CIA, and politicians from the smallest town to the national stage will only provide more of the same.  Save a violent revolution, the only man who has supported a break from the present course, a break he has laboriously detailed for thirty years, is Representative Ron Paul.  He has served to educate the masses and expose the inner workings of finance and government.  He was a lone voice in the wilderness warning Americans of the evil of the Federal Reserve, central banking and a militaristic  state on permanent war-time footing.

If Americans would just become educated and quit allowing the elites to triangulate the people through pretended disputes that just change the captain for the ship of state every election or two, but never the course, maybe we would eventually get past the phony paradigm of liberal versus conservative.  When we do, we will finally understand the true enemy is the entity that seeks a monopoly on currency as opposed to competing currencies, a monopoly on paper money as opposed free trade in gold, silver and other commodities, the constant erosion on our liberty and an expansion of the power of the state as opposed to liberty and a binding of the government through the Constitution.

Representative Dr. Ron Paul, opened his 2008 presidential bid with: “Hello, my name is Ron Paul, I am a congressman from Texas serving in my tenth term. I am the champion of the Constitution.”  Why was such a statement and thought so far from the minds of the other candidates? When has any other candidate, other then Ron Paul, ever decried increasing the power of the state?  Ron Paul is the one person whom exposes the state and its servants for what it is.
