Larry Pratt: Sheriffs Are Supreme Law Enforcement Over Feds
Larry Pratt, Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, appeared on the Pete Santilli Show to talk about communist overthrow and tyranny hunting. Larry Pratt does not refrain from explicitly calling the government out, saying they are operating outside of constitutional premises.
He reminds us of the unconstitutional National Security Force promised by President Obama in his 2008 campaign, which is designed to be as strong as our military. In response to this obvious attempt to supersede the Constitution, Mr. Pratt reemphasizes the superior authority of a sheriff saying, “Sheriffs… are the Supreme Law Enforcement Officer in their county, above FBI, state police, city police… they are the only cop in town, anywhere in the country, who has a direct, elected delegation of police power from we the people.”
Gun Owners of America stands with Richard Mack’s organization of 450+ sheriffs across the country, the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, in this fight against tyranny.

Why does everyone fail to look at the other side of the coin?

If the Sheriff and his/her department is THE SUPREME LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE IN THE COUNTY and THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO KICK THE FEDS OUT OF THE COUNTY, then they also have the authority to ARREST CITY POLICE OFFICERS and or SHUT DOWN AN ENTIRE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
This is where THE PEOPLE have been IRRESPONSIBLE and NEGLECTFUL OF THEIR DUTIES.
City police departments should not exist.
The “City” is nothing more than a corporation just like Wal-Mart. Look it up. ALL cities have an INCORPORATION DATE, the date in which they were INCORPORATED.
The “City” operates its corporation WITHIN the COUNTY and is LEGALLY bound by state and COUNTY LAWS. In short, the COUNTY HAS AUTHORITY OVER THE CITY. Just like they have authority over the Feds when they are INSIDE THE COUNTY.
The COUNTY SHERIFF, elected by the people, UPHOLDS THE LAWS INSIDE THE COUNTY, therefore if the CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT breaks the law then the SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT needs to be conducting the investigation and making any arrest, not the city police departments internal affairs division. The city should not have a police department and the Sheriffs Department should handle ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUIREMENTS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS as the city is OPERATING IN THE COUNTY. And…
The city should be PAYING TAXES TO THE COUNTY FOR PROVIDING LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES TO THE CITY.
THE PEOPLE NEED THE SHERIFF NOT ONLY TO KEEP THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IN CHECK BUT ALSO THE CITY GOVERNMENTS IN CHECK.
Cities having police departments are no different than Union Pacific Rail Road or Wal-Mart having their own police force…. Union Pacific Rail Road has their own police force for their property, hospitals and universities have their own police force for their properties and yes Wal-Mart even has their “security personnel” that are allowed to kick in a persons door and search for their property using a warrant that they printed off their own computer and not signed by a judge… Look it up.
THE PEOPLE OF THE COUNTY THAT ALLOW THESE BANANA REPUBLIC POLICE FORCES TO OPERATE ARE DOING THEMSELVES AN INJUSTICE.
Essentially the CORPORATIONS have taken control of our country, for your safety of course.
However the questions that remains to be answered are these….
Will the citizens of the United States stand up for what is rightfully and legally theirs?
Will they abolish that which is corrupt?
Or, will they continue to ignore the facts?
