Sean Hannity has been Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s safeword in the course of Monday’s debate, but currently the Fox News host is panicking about the likely apocalypse subsequent the November 8 election.
On his Friday radio show, he appeared to be worried and recommending his audience that it was time to sound the alarm.
“I’ve repeated myself. I do it every day. I try to point out what is of substance, Mark, every single day on this program and what’s at stake in this election,” Hannity explained to his frequent guest host Mark Simone. “And I’m going to tell you something, I don’t know how people are going to end up voting. I don’t have a clue who is going to win in 39 days.”
Hannity confessed he likes that the race is close but he’s amazed that such a “dishonest” “human being” has a shot at winning “after the disaster that’s known as Obama” was too much for him to deal with. Hannity rattled off all of the problems the world deals with and blamed Clinton for them, apparently floored that more folks don’t observe what he does.
He then railed on homeownership, stating that the rate is lower than it has been in 51 years. Hannity and the right wing feature the homeownership issue to Obama policies. Not, instead, a problem created by high rates of student loans for millennials to cover or the recent collapse in the mortgage market still working its way back to full strength.
“One in six American men 18 to 34 are either in jail or in mommy’s basement,” he stated. He’s citing a CBO report displaying that 16 percent of young men are jobless or behind bars. That number in 1980 was 11 percent.
That same report blames the situation on long-term job trends where productive labor isn’t as needed as it once was in factors largely run by machines. Another issue facing men is a large increase of educated women going into the workforce they have to compete with. Outsourcing low-skill jobs and immigrants doing low-skill work are also concerns.
“It sucks,” Hannity states. “I’ve experienced this. I’ve tried to warn the country about Obama. I tried. Didn’t I try? I gave it everything. I gave it so much that people love me- my friends said I was dead, I was ruining my career but I didn’t care, and I know I’m out on a limb here, but I don’t care because it’s the right thing to do. You have a choice. America lives or dies in 39 days. That’s how I look at it.”
