This is major.
The Chicago Tribune became the 1st major newspaper to request Hillary Clinton to step away and eliminate herself from the ticket.
As most understand, the “dishonest media” has been anti-Trump since the get-go. He is a big threat to the current status quo and most media outlets are consolidated into large corporations.
No word if any newspaper has truly withdrawn its endorsement but with a candidate confronting a long jail term, it would appear impossible for most to continue to support the plagued candidate.
Has America become so numb by the years of lies and cynicism oozing from Clinton Inc. that it might elect Hillary Clinton as president, even after Friday’s FBI announcement that it had reopened an investigation of her emails while secretary of state?
We’ll discover in no time.
It’s apparent the American political system is deteriorating. It’s been falling apart for some time now, and the establishment elite realize it and they’re appropriately terrified. Donald Trump, the vulgarian at their gates, is a symptom, not a cause. Hillary Clinton and husband Bill are both cause and effect.
FBI director James Comey’s declaration about the renewed Clinton email investigation is the bombshell in the presidential campaign. That he released this so close to Election Day should explain to every thinking person that what the FBI is seeking at is highly significant.
This can’t be about pervert Anthony Weiner and his documented need for a teenage girl. But it can be about the laptop of Weiner’s wife, Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and emails concerning her and Hillary. It comes after the FBI investigation in which Comey determined Clinton had lied and been “reckless” with national secrets, but stated he could not suggest prosecution.
So what should the Democrats do at this point?
If ruling Democrats hold themselves to the high moral standards they enforce on the folks they govern, they would adhere to a straightforward process:
They would request that Mrs. Clinton step down, without delay, and let her vice presidential nominee, Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, stand in her place.
Democrats should tell you, truthfully, that with a new criminal investigation going on into activities around her home-brew email server from the time she was secretary of state, having Clinton anywhere near the White House is just not a good option.
Since Oct. 7, WikiLeaks has launched 35,000 emails hacked from Clinton campaign boss John Podesta. Currently WikiLeaks, no longer a neutral player but an active anti-Clinton organization, projects to launch another 15,000 emails.
Imagine if she is elected? Think of a nation enduring a bad economy and ongoing chaos in the Middle East, and currently also facing a criminal investigation of a president. On top of all that, congressional investigations and a public vision of Clinton as a Nixonian figure wandering the halls, wringing her hands.
The ideal thing would be for Democrats to request her to step down right now. It would be the most sensible thing to do, if the nation were more important to them than power. And the American news media – fairly or not solidly recognized in the public mind as Mrs. Clinton’s political action committee – should start demanding it.
But what will Hillary do?
She’ll stick and ride this out and turn her rage toward Comey. For Hillary and Bill Clinton, it has always been about power, about the Clinton Restoration and protecting fortunes already constructed by selling nothing but political influence.
She’ll emphasize the nation that she’s a female and that Donald Trump stated horrible things about females. If there is another known Trump video to be leaked, the Clintons should perhaps leak it now. Then her allies in media can converse about misogyny and sexual politics and the headlines can be all about Trump as the guttersnipe he is and Hillary as champion of woman victims, which she has never been.
Remember that Bill Clinton leveraged the “Year of the Woman.” Then he preyed on women of all ages in the White House and Hillary safeguarded him. But the political left – most specifically the ladies of the left – defended him because he guaranteed to protect abortion rights and their other agendas.
If you take a step back from ethnical politics, you’ll notice that Mrs. Clinton has obviously disqualified herself from ever coming near classified information again. If she were a young person straight out of grad school hoping to land a government job, Hillary Clinton would be ridiculed out of Washington with her record. She’d never be hired.
As secretary of state she maintained classified documents on the home-brew server in her basement, which is unlawful. She lied about it to the American people. She couldn’t recall particulars dozens of times when questioned by the FBI. Her aides deleted proof by BleachBit and hammers. Her husband, Bill, met covertly on an airport tarmac with Attorney General Loretta Lynch for about a half-hour, and all they mentioned they spoke about was golf and the grandkids.
And there was no criminal prosecution of Hillary.
That isn’t simply wrong and unethical. It is venomous.
And during this presidential campaign, Americans were faced with a two-tiered system of federal justice: one for standards for the Clintons and one for the peasants.
I’ve always thought that, as secretary of state, Clinton kept her home-brew email server – from which foreign intelligence agencies could hack top secret information – so she could protect the influence peddling that helped create the Clintons various fortunes.
The Clintons weren’t experienced merchants. They weren’t traders or manufacturers. The Clintons by no means created anything tangible. They had no science, patents or devices to make them millions upon millions of dollars.
All they had to market, truly, was influence. And they utilized our federal government to take advantage of it.
If a presidential election is as much about the people as it is about the candidates, then we’ll understand loads about ourselves in the coming days, won’t we?
These People Are A Danger To Themselves And Others! Wake Up!!!!!!
