The Houston Astros were in a must-win situation on Friday night with the New York Yankees hitting on all cylinders with a 3-2 American League Championship Series lead. Thanks to ace Justin Verlander, the reemergence of a potent offense and a bit of good old-fashioned home cooking, they have earned another must-win game but this time, for all the marbles. Verlander held the mighty Yankees scoreless through seven innings of clutch pitching and star second baseman Jose Altuve had three runs batted in, including the double that put the Astros on the scoreboard with a lead that they would never relinquish.
