NFL Sunday Night Ratings Tank Again After Week Two of Anti-Trump Protests

While the NFL protests against President Trump continued – albeit diminishing in number – this week, it is still looking like thanks to the botched handling of the situation has caused long-lasting if not permanent damage. The ratings are in for Sunday night’s prime-time game and the trend continues to signal that people are as mad as hell and are not going to take it anymore. Ticket sales have plunged, longtime fans have taken to having jersey burning parties and the league is still refusing to outright ban the protests. You have to hand it to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, in a career of scandals and screw-ups, he sure has painted his masterpiece with the dumpster fire that began cooking down as soon as he threw in with the scumbags and declared war on mainstream America. It probably has yet to occur to Goodell and others that the majority of football fans aren’t sissy coastal liberals who found the game too violent to watch before the emergence of their messiah Kaepernick.
