Europe's Mood Toward Islam is Beginning to Change

News coming out of Europe, particularly in the UK and in Germany, is showing a change in attitude towards Muslims.

Here are some indications that demonstrate this fact:

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that immigrants are welcome in Germany, but must learn the language and better assimilate into society. While some argue that Merkel’s statements were aimed at scoring points with conservatives, her comments reflect a rising tide of anti-immigrant language in Germany and other parts of Europe.

Attempts to build a multicultural society in Germany have “utterly failed,” according to Chancellor Angela Merkel. “This approach has failed, utterly failed,” said Merkel, head of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), in a speech to the party’s young people’s association in Potsdam on Saturday. She added that not enough was done in the past to support the movement. “The failures of the last 30 or 40 years cannot be resolved so quickly,” she said.

Israel Wins in Cambridge University Debate

Refuses to call Israel Rogue State

Despite hostile audience, Israeli team marks unexpected victory in debate titled ‘Israel is rogue state,’ hosted by the prestigious British university.

On October 21, the Cambridge debate club hosted an event titled “Israel is a Rogue State.”  The debate’s starting point was that Israel is a problematic country, which does not obey international law.  
Due to the preeminence of the hosting institution, the Israeli embassy in London decided to send representatives Ran Gidor, the embassy’s political advisor and a Cambridge graduate, and Shiraz Maher, a former radical Islamist that has become an enthusiastic Israel supporter.

The opposing side was represented by journalist and publicist Lauren Booth, the sister-in-law of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Booth, who is considered as one of the most prominent and outspoken pro-Palestinian activists in Britain, converted to Islam after visiting Iran six weeks prior to the event.  Along with her was Mark McDonald who heads the Labor party’s Friends of Palestine & Middle East Association. Both engaged in a harsh diatribe against the Jewish State.

Israel’s Ambassador to London Ron Prosor has recently said that the refusal to define Israel as “rogue state” has been reinforced by its acceptance at the University of Cambridge debate club.  
Prosor added that Israel will continue to dispatch representatives to any event that attempts to tarnish Israel’s reputation. www.varsity.co.uk/comment/2619

German Journalist and Author Tells Muslims to “Go back to where you are happy.”

German journalist, author, and anti-Islamic activist, Udo Ulfkotte, is interviewed here and speaks out on his views that “Muslim culture has no place in Western culture. There is a clash not only of civilizations and religions, but a clash of ideology…Islam is not going to win this battle in Europe. Europeans will not allow Muslims to overrun Europe…Europeans will violently revolt against Islam.”
