ZStreet: There never was a state of Palestine

We at Z STREET are thrilled that the historical fact there never was a state of Palestine, and that the Arabs living in the region were, like other Arabs in the area, simply inhabitants of the Ottoman Empire, has now been squarely addressed in the US presidential race by one of the contenders for the Republican Party nomination, Newt Gingrich.  Z STREET calls on all Jewish and other pro-Israel individuals and organizations to join us in acknowledging the truth of the statement, and challenges those who dispute these facts to offer proof of their positions.

The historical truth that there never was a state of Palestine – the Middle East Truth that Must Not Be Named – was immediately and resoundingly condemned by Arab Palestinian leaders. Saeb Erekat, a longtime spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority called the comments “despicable,” and Hanan Ashrawi, another long-time Arab Palestinian leader called his statements “very racist” and said they reveal that Gingrich is “incapable of holding office.”  Both Erekat and Ashrawi were colleagues and cronies of the prince of prevarication, Yassir Arafat.  Not surprisingly, the faux pro-Israel organization J Street has also condemned the statements of fact as “ill-informed, irresponsible and frightening,” thereby once again displaying its willingness to bend the truth to suit their own political (i.e. pro-Arab Palestinian) agenda and fundraising scare tactics.

“It is rare that political races offer an opportunity for huge numbers of citizens to learn historical truths, and for popular but wildly untrue myths to be put to rest,” said Lori Lowenthal Marcus, Z STREET president.  “While the conflict in the Middle East is often a campaign topic, rarely has a presidential candidate been responsible for uttering a simple historical fact and thereby upending a house of cards historical invention.”

Z STREET hopes that everyone who knows the truth about the Middle East will join in and help eradicate the long-held and dangerous myth that has cast Israel as an entity that stole a state from a people when, in fact, there never was that state nor was there such a people.

Z STREET is an international organization dedicated to truthful education about Israel and the Middle East, and opposed to appeasing or making concessions to terrorism.  We’re pro-Israel, pro-truth.  WWW.ZSTREET.ORG

z for zionists? yes it’s true that there was no state of palestine and when england and france invaded the region people were from the osmanien empire. they promise to both arabs and jewish a home state, but it was never realized. after world war 1 the united kingdom become the mandate for palestine from the winners. with palestine they ment all the regions that had become today israel and more regions. In 1922 there were 757.182 people living in palestine. 590.890 were muslims, 83.794 jewish, 73.024 christs and a littel number of other religions. the region was mutli ethik and in the mayority at this time arab. only after world war 2 1948 jewish people were 33% of population. So if you want to tell the truth tell all the truth and not only the part you can instrumentalise for your benefits, what ever they are. To say they were no palestine people is perhaps right depending of the interpretation but one is for sure they were arab people and their land was and is stolen until today. And if you are looking for the original ones of this region the most old people indetified by language were the hurrite. which language is related the most to the kaukasien language and not to the semite or indogerman. And bevor this time the region was under the religious influence of agypt. your truth is pro israel thats for sure?. in israel not every jewish thinks like you. so your truth is pro zionism and for sure not pro israel. with statements like this, half truths, the only thing you create is missunderstanding the roots for hate and war. the states on this earth are a colonial leftovers of the powerful warlords of europe and usa. the so called nation are the product of these powers not of the people of any nations. this constructs were build to create wars under the people. as long as they are involved in this stupid wars about religions, borders etc. the rulers and powerfull who don’t know borders, religions etc can stay in security an go on instigating hate among brothers and sisters of this earth. but the time is over. your half truth are debunked like so many other by more and more people who are realising the game of the powerfulls. you don’t have my power, my power for debunking lies and half truth. much peace and love to you and think and fell about your writing.

Dear Anonymous…This is a press release from ZStreet that points out the fact that there is no one Arab ethnic group that are true Palestinians as there are Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrians, Jordanian, etc… Palestinians are multi-ethnic, including Jews, who lived in the Biblical lands of Palestine…There is no argument here for a one state solution as no one is questioning that. It is the facts that are important in order to negotiate any process. The concept of a Palestinian people really goes back to idea of the Palestine Liberation, created by the KGB together with all those liberation movements in Africa and South America in the early 1960’s. It was a way of destabilising the West. It also helps rally the various Arab factions against one enemy…The West…and Israel is our most ardent ally. You ought not forget that or you and other Americans will go down after there is no Israel to defend our freedoms and eventual Western civilization.

If you include refugees in Jordon they are already pretty much in parity. About 6 and a half million Palestinians to 7 and a half million Israelis. The difference being about a third of Israelis are living immigrants from europe wheras all Palestinians are autochthonous.

      Dear JanSuzanne,dear grasscrown,
to say the liberation movement in all the countries you mentioned is the product of kgb is an other imperial concept you reproduce here. ask your self how all these people wanted liberation and liberation from who? kgb surely helped them, cause the west and israel didn’t. the west and specially the usa are the primary invaders in these world. look at your history of military “interventions”. the destabilisation of the west is primary the product of the in the west living financial complex and military complex. neiter the west or israel are your ally, you still think in notions of nations, another imperial concept of the two discrived complex’s. the parity of people today in israel is the concequence of tausends of palestinians/arabs that were driven out of israel by is politics of expulsion by military force. it’s also one of the points of discussion in the negotations. Israel is also the land with the largest nuclear force in the region and doesn’t let anyone control their nuclear development. it’s very clear that if there is one destabilizing power in this arab and persian region it is israel, powered by the west and usa. if you look for a plattform for negotations so look to stop the illegal occupation of so many areas in israel by their military forces, look to stop the illegal settlement in areas israel hasn’t the right for. And at least for your menace that america will go down after there is no israel to defend the freedoms of the financial and military complex is the most clearly expression of no willing for negotiation but for a clear oneway strategy. either people are with you or the western civilization will go down. western civilazation is going down and that’s allright like this, caus it is a civilization of war and invasion. you want to stop this? so start by making the fed a goverment institution, stop producing only wappons, stop the multinational genetical genocid industry that is killing all farmers in us, etc. as i said before the situation as changed and there are a lot of people that see through the strategies of war and hate some people try to spread out diguised as information for peace process, like yours. much love and peace and don’t forget peace is not the absense of war but social justice.

Regardless, the Arabs are ethnically Semitic. The overwhelming majority of Israeli settlers are European — and not Semitic.

The Semitic ancestors of the Arabs today were in this region before the the white settlers’ ancestors even thought about converting to Judaism.

@JanSuzanne Jews as Gods and Israel in and Christ as God and Israel out nonsense! Palestinians were objecting to their peoples community AND persons mortality being treated as a lie by Zionists as far back as 1919. LONG before Jewish Zionists like Trotsky and his fellow Jewish Zionists created the KGB. If you are that desperate to treat a person as an imaginary person maybe you should try imaginary holocausts instead as the person is at least real.

here we start seeing the consequences of such truths. surely not for making peace. to stop these nonsense. yes it’s true there was no palastinian state like there was no israel state or in the words of a very clever commentator of the article in frontpagemag:

The UN invention of Palestine was the logical consequence to the UN invention of Israel.

this so called truth are sure not the basic for peacefull negotiations, they are the basics for creating polaraty between the people in cost of the people of the region.

On SJP and the ‘stealth jihad’ hitting college campuses near you

October 10, 2011 By Sami Kishawi Leave a Comment

American Thinker published a distorted article about the upcoming National Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) Conference, claiming SJP represents the student arm of the “stealth jihad” movement and criticizing Columbia University and Jewish students for giving pro-Palestinians a platform to express their views.

There are two ways this response can go. I can either focus on the article’s many contextual, grammatical, and typographical errors (the author, Jan Suzanne Krasner, very noticeably confuses SJP with SPJ), or I can simply show how the author contradicts and subsequently discredits herself. Both routes will suggest that Krasner and the ideological views presented in her article represent the extremism and intolerance SJP and other pro-justice organizations work against, but I will choose the latter route and deal solely with the article’s slanderous content.

Krasner, who genuinely believes several neighborhoods in the United Kingdom are “Shariah Controlled Zones” run by Muslims fantasizing about victorious battles against the Crusaders, vaguely argues that the SJP Conference to be held at Columbia University serves to delegitimize Israel through direct yet stealthy jihad. In her own words, “[t]he Muslim Brotherhood actively supports and finances student organizations like SJP”. To Krasner, the conference, which she repeatedly calls a “training event”, is just another example of the “true mission of Islamists” being forced upon the American youth, and she feels compelled to put an end to it.

From the start, Krasner’s idea of SJP and campus solidarity is flawed by her obsession with the far-fetched idea that everything represents creeping Shariah unless it fully abides by and supports American and Israeli policy. By asserting that SJP serves to promote ‘radical Islam’, a term copped from the FOX network, Krasner reveals her misunderstanding of what it means to stand against Israel’s sustained abuse of Palestinian rights. The article mentions “SJP’s demands” but instead links to an unrelated article about the Palestinian Authority’s recent bid for statehood. What the article purposefully leaves out is that SJP’s real demands involve an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine and a restoration of human rights, equality, and self-sovereignty to all.

By framing the SJP Conference as tool to Islamicize the United States, Krasner attempts to shift attention away from the facts that exist on the ground in Palestine-Israel towards her Islamophobic fetishes. Her article makes no mention of the proposed objectives of the conference nor does it even recognize the existence of Israel’s occupation — which, in and of itself, is a cause for concern.

Krasner also goes on to accuse SJP of willfully accepting financial assistance from the Muslim Brotherhood. I challenge her and anyone that agrees with her article to prove this allegation. I guarantee no success. It is likely that she is referring to the funds the SJP National Committee has been collecting to offset the costs of putting together this convention, but such an allegation is baseless and only reflects the extent to which she will go to dirty the name and reputation of a movement committed to bringing down the prejudiced establishments she herself supports.

On the issue of money, the article states that the “[o]rganizers hope to raise $30,000 in preparation for the upcoming 2012 national campus event called ‘Israel Apartheid Week’”. Had Krasner bothered to read and understand the program for the conference, she would know that only one of the many planned workshops is centered on Israel Apartheid Week (IAW). The conference is indeed about confronting and overcoming apartheid, but IAW is just one of many strategies of doing so. The funds raised by SJP will be used to plant the seeds of nonviolent, skillful, and effective campus activism against injustice and apartheid.

In a last ditch attempt to undermine the imminent success of the SJP Conference, Krasner attempts to make the point that the conference violates Columbia University’s code of Civil Behavior and Community Standards. The article cites the following:

It is expected that in and out of the classroom, on and off campus, each student in the School of General Studies will act in an honest way and will respect the rights of others. Freedom of expression is an essential part of University life, but it does not include intimidation, threats of violence, or the inducement of others to engage in violence or in conduct which harasses others.

Krasner then goes on to applaud the following response by the National Conference on Jewish Affairs (NCJA):

Of course we will not be surprised to hear from President Bollinger and the Board that this is just a “student group” and the university is “not involved” and that this is “the free expression of ideas,” intellectual freedom” or even “art.” But we can no longer accept these excuses for what appears to be pure hatred and efforts to intimidate pro-Israel Jewish students and others who do not agree with SPJ’s views.

Again, the organization being referred to is SJP not SPJ. But looking beyond this blatant display of irresponsibility reveals even more irresponsibility. Here is an already-discredited contingency calling on Columbia University to shut down the conference and to deny students their right to free speech and expression even though the conference violates in no way any of the standards set forth by Columbia University’s behavioral codes. What makes this even more disturbing is that Krasner and NCJA have the nerve to make these statements just after ten students were prosecuted for merely interrupting an inherently offensive speech by Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren for a total of less than one minute.

But more importantly, neither Krasner or NCJA provide any evidence as to how this conference intimidates pro-Israel Jewish students. The conference is not anti-Israel and, thus, it is not an anti-pro-Israel-Jewish-student conference. Rather, the conference is pro-justice, and it just so happens that the concept of justice — which includes equality, accountability, human rights, and more — does not align at all with conventional Israeli policy. It is not SJP’s fault that Israel occupies Palestine, but the students involved with SJP have taken on the responsibility of combating the hatred and intolerance that allows the occupation to exist. If Kramer truly considers this unethical, intimidating, or threatening, then the only segment of the global population she seeks to defend are the ones who already violate Columbia University’s behavioral and community codes. (At this time, I invite you to read the comments following the article, one of which implicitly commends Anders Breivik’s Islamophobic and murderous ideology.)

Krasner’s article serves as both an Islamophobic and dramatically deceitful libel against a large union of Muslim, Jewish, Christian, religious, and irreligious students who have dedicated themselves to resisting injustice with ambition, intellect, and the rule of law. There is no jihad at play and the SJP Conference, with its public records and all, is definitely not a breeding ground for fundamentalism of any sort. Immortal Technique is not “seducing” students to the event and the Muslim Brotherhood does not exist within Columbia University’s walls. The first ever National SJP Conference itself is proof that apartheid and occupation will soon come to an end, and Krasner’s attempt to defame this planned gathering of student activists will not in any way hinder the manifestation of this outcome.
