Hours ago national defense satellites targeted on NKorea confirmed that the rogue state has deployed SA-2 surface to air missiles along its western coastline along the Yellow Sea.

This places their missile battery in target range of the United States and SKorean naval task force group.

The threat is intended to escalate the hostilities between the two Koreas as the Peninsula moves closer to possible all-out war.

At a funeral for the SKorean marines killed by the North’s unprovoked missile attck on a military-civilian SKorean island, a SKorean general vowed that the NKoreans would pay more than 1,000 times for the death of his men.

A SKorean government source issued a statement on condition of anonymity saying, “[The SA-2 missiles] appear to be targeting our fighter jets that fly near the Northern Limit Line (NLL).” The NLL is a reference to the Yellow Sea border.

Other than the SA-2′s, designed to take out enemy jet aircraft, the anonymous government official confirmed that other missiles have also been moved to the coast on orders from central command in Pyongyang.

Samlet missiles and anti-naval missile Silkworms with ranges up to 95 kilometers have also been moved onto launch pads along the coast.

“The [SKorean] military is preparing for the possibility of further provocations as the NKorean military has deployed firepower near the NLL and is preparing to fire,” the source revealed.
