8/27/13 – The country is becoming increasingly wary about the United States getting involved in any way with the current atrocities going on in Syria. Today Glenn Beck took a decidedly grim view of what would happen if the United States intervened: “we won’t survive.” Beck agreed in principle with Sean Hannity’s comments that intervention could very well lead the United States into World War III, since Russia, Iran, and China are warning against intervention, and we’d end up going against all of them.
Beck said he’s not an anti-war protestor, but declared that “we need anti-war rallies” to push back against this, and people need to just ignore politicians like John McCain and President Obama dismissing opposition to intervention as coming from “extremists.”
Beck reminded the audience Obama’s anti-war stance was one of the major things that secured his election, and pointed out that he was highly critical of Bush for similar tactics. He instructed listeners to find common ground with liberals on this issue and stand united against intervention.
He concluded, “Don’t screw around with this. This is WWIII in the making.”

If Putin and China are to be believed and if those two nations jump into the mix of anything started by Obama, et al, the progressive left has much to fear and a great deal of that fear will originate rat ‘cheer in America.

If Obama makes the mistake of attacking in limited fashion and it spirals out of control then his plan to placate the neocons will fail. Better to arrest Cheney and the whole lot and throw them into prison than to risk WW3.
Why does he need to placate the neocons? He’s the F*****g President! Only 9% of the American people support military action. He has the opportunity to placate the people.

If the president was to show restraint the American people would overwhelmingly support him. The president needs to take responsibility and credit for his actions.

Russia has military personnel and material in Syria, just as the U.S. has in, for instance, Saudi Arabia. How will Russia react if the U.S. attacks its assets in Syria? Same as the U.S. would react if Russia attacked U.S. assets in Saudi Arabia.

best that i can read between the lines is that Russia/Syria and the USA have done a deal to save the face of Obama and the missile attack will truly be an humanitarian attack, no one will be killed because the target have all been agreed in advance and assad will move personal and equipment away from the target zones just to save face for Obama and his band of bandits.

“Now for the reason I am here. I was sent to show you something. Look and see,” he said, pointing down to the valley below. As I looked, I saw the outline of a map of America then the outlines of states began taking shape. As I continued to watch this map solidify, small lights began to flicker on and off in some of the states. I recognized California, Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, Washington State, Florida, and New York, among the states that lit up. The light was rhythmic, almost like a homing beacon, constant in its progression. I continued watching the lights go on and off, waiting for something else to happen, but nothing did. Finally I said, “I don’t understand. What does this mean?”

Over the past few days, I have spent much time in prayer as to whether I should share this dream or not. I believe that I am supposed to, and this is why I have included it in this issue of the newsletter. My prayer is that no one would perceive it as a reason for fear, but rather a reason to hope. God hears the prayers of His children, and as long as He encourages us to pray, we must do so without reservation. The day will come, a day I anticipate with great dread, when God will speak to His children as he spoke to Jeremiah, and say do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry for them any longer. For now, while we still can, may we ceaselessly bring our petitions before the Lord.

Surely, if Obama is so convinced (many are not) that Assad was responsible for the crimes against his own people and that he should take action – why is that action not going to be a bringing of Assad before the War Crimes Tribunal and charging the man himself – not his obedient military servants, for the crime he supposedly committed.. instead – the choice is to do EXACTLY what the claim is Assad did – inflict injury and death on people who were only following the orders of the regime. Also, if it escalates beyond the so-called “limited”intervention and USA troops are killed – is that blood on Obama’s hands??? Is Obama – and his cronies – not perhaps a little concerned that the longer they search for evidence, or the idea of charging and punishing the man himself – Assad – who they “claim” to have committed the atrocities, may in fact show that he did not commit them???? and may reveal the true perpetrators??
