Top US General: “Major Arab Allies Funding ISIS”

Today’s headlines were dominated by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Martin Dempsey, indicating that troops on the ground may be required to handle the growing ISIS threat. This comment was a direct contradiction to what has been repeated over and over again by President Barack Obama. There was another very interesting comment from General Dempsey today though that received far less attention, but is just as important. He came right out and stated America’s so-called Arab “allies’ are in fact funding the very terrorist threat these allies now want Americans to shed blood and dollars to defeat.

Yeah, think about that paradox…

This disclosure puts at least some of the blame for the current ISIS-related chaos and destruction at the feet of nations like Saudi Arabia and Qatar who have been funding the terrorist group in an effort to re-organize the entire Middle East.

It should also be noted that Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett conferred directly with the Saudi Royal Family prior to announcing to the American people the administration’s plan to go after ISIS.  Those discussions were to ensure the Saudis gave their approval. If that approval had not come, it is very likely the Obama White House would not have proceeded with any kind of anti-ISIS plan.
