There continues to be a lot of conversation this week about an imminent WWIII predicament, and currently more fuel is being added to the fire in the form of an Obama Administration announcement that the CIA is preparing for a targeted “cyber strike” in opposition to Russia. The reason for the suggested cyber strike? Apparently, the U.S. is responding to Russia’s claimed “interference” in the U.S. presidential election.
As NBC News accounts, the Cyber strike against Russia (and WWIII talk) come after weeks and possibly even months of claimed Russian cyber hacks and other attacks that have allegedly influenced the 2016 general election cycle. Based on some sources, Wikileaks might even have an association with hackers from Russia. Without a doubt, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been falsely accused of having questionable ties with Russia and possibly even colluding with President Vladimir Putin himself.
So why would the threat of a mere cyber strike in opposition to Russia lead folks to think that WWWIII is imminent? As FLI reports, President Putin hasn’t minced his words when it involves the U.S. presidential elections. As outlined by Putin himself, a Hillary Clinton victory could suggest a devastating war between 2 of the world’s most powerful superpowers.
Without a doubt, rumors of an imminent WWIII concerning the U.S. and Russia are actually flying with increased frequency this week as Hillary Clinton’s primary opponent, Donald Trump, has floundered both publicly and in the polls. As Trump’s inexplicable political star appears to be dimming, the threat of Russian aggression and U.S. retaliation has apparently become more serious, stoking WWIII fears.
“First, there was Bush senior in power, then Bush junior. [Bill] Clinton was [U.S. President] two times in a row, now his wife has ambitions. Again, the family might stay in power. As they say in Russia, a husband and a wife are the same Satan.”
Based on CIA officials, the U.S. government is saying to be quite certain that Russia is driving the rash of cyber attacks and hacks that have affected the current election cycle. So certain, the truth is, that the newly announced planned cyber strike in opposition to Russia is anticipated to target the leadership of Russia and even be utilized to harass and “embarrass” the country’s leadership.
Possibly not the cleverest move when dealing with Russia and predominant fears of WWIII sweeping the globe.
For Russia’s part, regardless of the current rumors of an imminent WWIII and talk of a U.S. cyber strike in opposition to Russia, the country’s leadership has emphatically rejected any role in the election-related hacks and cyber attacks that have affected U.S. politics this year. Russian leaders have even charged the U.S. government of intentionally warmongering and stoking “anti-Russian sentiments.”
Sources in and close to the CIA dreamland commented particularly concerning the exact nature of the planned cyber strike in opposition to Russia, but Vice President Joe Biden (without talking about a rumored imminent WWIII) did speak out about “sending a message” to Russia in a discussion with Chuck Todd of Meet the Press on Friday. In fact, according to Biden, the message the U.S. government plans to send with its planned cyber strike isn’t to Russia, in general, but to Russian President Vladimir Putin in particular.
“It will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact.”
Fairly frightening stuff, as outlined by some. Particularly thinking about that, based on The Express, Russia not too long ago held a four-day “civil defense drill” that resulted in the evacuation of 40 million folks, individuals who were apparently organizing for a nuclear-fueled imminent WWIII
Reportedly, Russia has underground bunkers, fully manned and stocked, and able of protecting tens of millions of its people from the forces of an imminent WWIII, even a nuclear one.
Even more ominously, just a short time before the CIA introduced plans for a massive cyber strike on Russia, and amongst ongoing talk of an imminent WWIII, Russia called its people living abroad to “return to the motherland.” As the New York Post accounts, Vladimir Putin wanted “his” people back in the country as a result of significantly strained trepidation between Russia and the United States.
Russian political analyst Stanislav Belkovsky states that the choice to bring Russian citizens home was much more than a reaction to strained diplomatic ties with the U.S., stating that it was a precursor to something much more lethal and threatening.
“This is all part of the package of measures to prepare elites to some big war.”
An imminent WWIII? Some appear to believe so. Which includes former Russian Lt. General Evgeny Buzhinsky, who guaranteed that the U.S. won’t emerge unscathed with a “confrontation” with Russia. His commentary were made days before the declaration that the CIA is preparing a cyber strike against Russia.
“If you want a confrontation, you’ll get one. But it won’t be a confrontation that doesn’t harm the interests of the United States. You want a confrontation, you’ll get one everywhere.”
What do you believe? Are the current predominant rumors of an imminent WWIII legitimate, and could the CIA’s reported plan to let loose a cyber strike on Russia create an already horrifying scenario worse?
