Horrifying Photos! US Marines Burning Iraqis And Worse
The Pentagon confirmed Wednesday that a formal investigation is underway since photographs, most too gruesome to publish, began surfacing, allgedly showing US troops burning remains of dead Iraqis.
Those images were published Wednesday morning by website TMZ, that claims to have recently come into possession of 41 photos they believe were taken in Fallujah sometime in 2004 amid the US-led Iraq occupation.
The website has only published eight of the images (below), including ones with men, who appear to be US Marines, dousing the dead with chemicals and setting them ablaze.
TMZ is withholding most of the photographs, however, due to many being “too gruesome,” they claim, including one showing a human body being devoured by dogs and another covered in flies.
In one photo, a man in full military garb is shown holding his high-powered firearm to what appears to be the charred remains of a human skull.
The photographs were turned over to the US Department of Defense last week, according to the website. TMZ says that Col. Steve Warren, the Pentagon’s director of press operations, told them the images do seem to show US servicemen engaged in unlawful activity.
The latest leak might uncover the most embarrassing incident of its kind to plague the US military since images taken inside America’s now infamous Abu Ghraib prison were published nearly 10 years ago, states.
Since there is no statute of limitations on the crime — even if the soldiers are now private citizens … they can still be prosecuted and end up behind bars.
Col. Warren told TMZ, ”The actions that are depicted in these photos are not in any way representative of the honorable, professional service of the 2 1/2 million service members who went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last decade.”

CLEARLY…if one would only LOOK at the photos, one can see the long decayed bodies of human, yes. What ethic/nationality really? Perhaps these solders are following ORDERS? In which the responder is correct in freeing the area/environment of stinch, decay et cetera. While the reporter is giving everyone a picked through report, the report is missing a lot of information. This type of reporting is what everyone’s waking up to. And, if you don’t want accused of an agenda report, then tell the whole story! If you look closely at the first pic the body appears to me partially mummified as in laying there for a while. Burning is much better than rotting in the open and spreading God knows what type of pathogens.

Should I ask how much your getting PAID for every 70 views or so? You speak of this topic as if you command a front row seat to the said torture and worse so have you been in theater with our troops during these events? Burning someone who is already dead does not seem to warrant horrifying and worse. At any given time including support personnel we have close to 500K people over there, so out of the given number of people over there you have identified MAYBE .2% that did not uphold their conduct. Did you ever think of going after the parties sending these kids there? How about the Military industrial complex? Of course not that is to close to home, no you would rather draw conclusions from some photos and news reports as these troops cannot respond to your allegations, interesting. In short you would prefer we were politically correct. I submit you haven’t a clue as to what goes on daily or the stupidity of rules forced upon our kids before engaging the enemy. The controlled media has been a powerful tool in fooling the easy sheep. These wars are all totally unnecessary and created. We are wrong in supporting this violence and we all know it. No need for me to apologize. Even if an investigation proves these photos photo-shopped and all a lie, this and that would still be newsworthy. That’s why this is in the hands of the Pentagon – just like the other string of troop scandals – drugs, rapes, massacres, cheating… Good, most often poor people are brainwashed to be sub-human to commit barbaric acts – usually neatly hidden from public view, thanks to corporate media.
I also know, as you probably do too, this is just the tip of the iceberg of horror the US has committed in its so-called war on terror, US troops raping – even of our own female troops; drone killings of babies, children and their innocent parents, torturing… For what aim?
