Trump-Putin Set For Talks On Arms Race
“We had a very good call and I suspect that we will probably be meeting in the not-too-distant future to discuss the arms race, which is getting out of control, but we will never allow anybody to have anything close to what we have.”
It would appear that President Trump and President Putin are wanting to talk about both North Korea and the Syrian war. This came up after Trump called Putin to congratulate him on his re-election. The first few months of Trump’s presidency was trying to boost the relations between the US and Russia, though a lot of the US is against this notion. Putin was stated saying:
“Nobody plans to accelerate an arms race. We will do everything to resolve all the differences with our partners using political and diplomatic channels.”
This is a very interesting move as China has now earned their Emperor, and he hasn’t been too happy with the US. If any kind of alliance is made, what will this do with China? These could very well be steps to a world war. As much as the world does hate the US, it can’t be denied that their military and nuclear superpower presence would be devastating if they weren’t completely wiped out first. Perhaps Putin is wanting to stop that threat diplomatically to avoid bloodshed from any nation. Although China was left out of the details, what was touched upon was as follows:
“bilateral relations and resolved to continue dialogue about mutual national security priorities and challenges.” It said Trump also “emphasized the importance of denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.” The statement added that both leaders “confirmed the need” to continue “shared efforts on strategic stability,” without giving further details.
How this could affect Russia’s relations with China is currently unknown. China is wanting to hit hard at the US for the recent tariffs and are planning on “targetting Trump’s base” which is the exports of Soybeans and live hogs. But this is another story. What are your thoughts?

As much as I want peace, the war has to happen. The world wouldn’t accept the Messiah any other way.

I highly doubt the US and Russia will ever have decent relations…it seems that would be a miracle if that was the case. China and Russia are still allies when it comes down to it.
