Embedded is a discussion on each of the three model outcomes for the end of the week …

Upper Left – Model 1 is the strongest with this snow-storm, bringing widespread significant snow from MD/PA/NJ/NY/ and all of New England, the exception being Central to Northern parts of VT/NH/ME … This model, if it verifies … would be the strongest snow-storm to hit the region this season …

Upper Right – Model 2 is similar to model one, except the significant snow factors have dumbed down a bit, mainly hitting areas across some of PA/NJ/NY/CT/MA/and RI … This is much weaker than Model 1.

Lower Left – Model 3 is the weakest, showing the surface low going out to sea more than closer to the coast .. and any significant snow would not be likely, with the exception of heavy snows for SE NY into CT and into Cape Cod at some point …

Thoughts? My thoughts are simple. Don’t trust a forecaster who uses only models. At this point it isn’t too predictable by details but if I had to use what I know on weather patterns this far out … I’d go with a weaker system so Model 1 is OUT … , leaving model 2 and 3 as the focus for my future updates …
