I Told You So, Idiots!

The President, Executive Branch of Government, and the Legislative Branch of Government (including all U.S. senators and U.S. representatives in both houses of Congress) are blithering idiots!  This includes all members of both political parties.  They do not know how to solve the national debt, deficit spending, and budgetary problems of our nation.  They just play the stupid games they do and not solve the problem.  Furthermore, President Obama shows absolutely no leadership whatsoever.  He just plays politics.

Let me tell you what I did at our household, family level to survive.  The government should do the same things we are doing.

First, Obama caused me to lose my job on July 5, 2009.  That is over two years ago!  The unemployment rate is still rising.  I was making over $118 thousand a year plus benefits.  I was paying at least $50 thousand in taxes each year.  Now I pay zero taxes.  Hence, the government has foregone $100 thousand of taxes just from me over the past two years.  Multiply that by the millions of other people that he has put on the street with his stupid policies.  Obama has shot himself in the foot by destroying our economy, which caused millions to lose our jobs.

We have lived on about $50 thousand a year on savings, cashed-in stock, unemployment compensation, social security benefits, and a small retirement check.  Hence, the reduction in gross annual household income went from $118 thousand down to $50 thousand—a 58% or $68 thousand decrease.  In other words, we are now surviving on 42% of the gross income I had made prior to my layoff!

We use the $50 thousand a year of funds to pay first (in order of priority) the following: home mortgage, auto loans, utilities (electricity, gas, water, and trash pickup), insurances (life, automobile accident and liability, earthquake, and fire), and food (including drinking water).  All other expenditures, even those beyond discretionary spending, have come to an abrupt halt.

All I ask is that our stupid federal government does something similar to what we are doing.  However, instead of dropping the 58% in unnecessary expenditures, I ask the government to reduce only 50% of its unnecessary expenditures.  With the money that is left, pay only for those things we absolutely must fund.  Stop borrowing any more money.  Stop printing any more currency not backed by gold.  Stop increasing taxes.

Eliminate all unnecessary expenditures for wasteful, useless governmental agencies such as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Education (DoE), Department of Energy (DOE), and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  Abolish Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  Eliminate all entitlement programs and other such socialistic programs.  The “spread the wealth” program is a joke.  Eliminate foreign aid.  Eliminate the costly wars, which are unnecessary.  Stop paying for the subversive United Nations and kick them out of the United States homeland.  No more bailouts.  No more stimulus bills.  No more pork-barrel projects.  No earmarks.  No more handouts, freebees, gimmees, and doles.

The idiots in Washington, DC, cannot stop the growth of the national debt if they expect to maintain current spending levels.  Therefore, they must NOT raise the debt ceiling.  They must not increase taxes.  They must stop excessive spending.  They need to pay for only those items that they must pay for or risk default.  As we have done in my household, all other expenditures should come to a screeching halt.

The government should apply Zero-based Budgeting (ZBB).  They should never increase the budget.  The national government must learn to live within its means.  We should spend less than the money inflow.  That is what we do on the household level.  Is that a difficult concept to comprehend on the national level?  Spend less than what comes in!  If you cannot afford programs, cancel them!  Any deficit spending by anyone should be automatic removal from future service.  We should jail anyone approving taking money from the Social Security funds and paying for other things.

This program is what the idiots in Congress need to do.  If not, they will continue kicking the can down the road until one day soon, the national and world economies will come crashing down.  Then, they will go into the usual reactive mode instead of going into the proactive mode right now and solving these problems that are growing by leaps-and-bounds daily.  If these idiots feel they cannot come to agreement to solve the problems, then we should replace all of them with people who have both the intestinal fortitude and capability of solving hard problems.

Politicians Can Prove Anything with Statistics

The only reason politicians use statistics is to confuse and fool their unsuspecting constituents.  You can prove anything with statistics.  It is like creative accounting.

Creating uncertainty is a powerful tool for manipulation.  If the manipulation is for good results, we call it a strategy for winning.  If the manipulation is for evil results, we call it a stratagem for deception.  That is the realm of politics.
