Claim: Ominous Metal Boxes Appearing After West Coast UFO Sightings

UFO Mystery in the United States, Mysterious Metal Boxes Allegedly Appearing Along West Coast After UFO Sightings

Source: Dateline Zero

A senior named Doris, who is retired and lives nearby Stonefield Beach, Oregon [map] has become disquieted by a metal box that has washed ashore near her home. Her dog had made the find, and was barking and carrying on.

“I know crazy things happen over at Stonefield,” Doris stated, “but when you walk down and see that metal box sort of glowing in the surf it gets your attention real quick.”

Dave Masko is reporting this story at Huliq. Metal boxes are apparently washing ashore along the Oregon coast. Because Stonefield Beach is also “a popular Oregon coastal beach lookout for UFOs,” it is being suggested that one might have something to do with the other.

The story came out the other day, and is only being reported at Huliq.com right now. There doesn’t seem to be any other confirmation from any proper news site. So until there’s some reliable confirmation, I’m not going to place too much stock in this story.

I decided to browse some discussion channels and found a few very good possible explanations. “Abby Normal”pointed out at Lunatic Outpost that the writer of the article at Huliq is also a writer for The Examiner.

Perhaps she is suggesting the author might be prone to just making sensational shit up. But here’s my own musing: Might it be possible that the writer is hoping to seed a story that he can later use as material for an Examiner article?

“Anonymous Coward” at Godlike Productions theorizes that it might be Japanese tsunami debris washing up on U.S. West Coast. He points to an article about how, 9 months after the disaster, debris is washing up on U.S. shores. (And there’s 100 million more tons on its way.)

That theory makes sense to me. It could be debris washing ashore and the UFO sightings are purely incidental. After all, there are always UFO sightings. Every night. In every state. So suggesting that the appearance of boxes and the UFO sightings are related might be presumptuous. Correlation doesn’t equal causation.

There’s another possible explanation that I’ve seen at a few different discussion forums:

They look a little like coffins that they sometimes use in Japan, could this be what is washing ashore from the tsunami?

Has anyone opened one of these boxes? I’m sure that they contain the tubas stolen from schools in LA.I don’t read The Examiner. Whoever is convinced of the importance of these boxes might benefit from The Head Examiner.

The source is Huliq — not good. No one seems able (as yet) to verify this story.

What do the boxes contain? Obama’s live birth certificate?

WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE! I JUST KNOW IT! Well we are, aren’t we?

We should be very encouraged to learn of the 100 milllion tons of floating debris coming the way of US from the coastal regions of Japan. No doubt, much of this potential jetsam will be wood. In these hard times of repossessions and food stamps for so many citizens, this floating windfall may just prevent them from turning terroristic in a thankless world, by at least giving them an endless source of firewood.
“It’s an ill wind that blows no one any good.”
Presumably, it is possible to get matches with food stamps?

The Japan tsunami debris consists partly of houses that were destroyed and swept away. Do any of you have a big metal box in your home? I know I do…..

If it can’t be moved, how did it float to shore?

    • Anonymous

Oladyinashu makes a telling point. Yet these are strange days. Huliq might suggest that the boxes didn’t float ashore, but that the cosmos moved itself to settle around them. They may be tabernacular arks intruding from other slack-walled dimensions. Or does Huliq just need a good BOX round the ears?

The metal boxes are cremation urns for people who were buried at sea.
