If Larry Silverstein publicly admitted to blowing up his own property, why did Swiss Re, Lloyd’s, Zurich Financial, Copenhagen Re, and at least 8 other major insurance companies all pay him a total of $4.68 BILLION? They all fought his 2 planes = 2 incidents claims, and most of them won in court

And the “explanation” doesn’t make sense. Larry isn’t the boss of the fire department. And he is the one who said “just pull it.” Not them, “it.”
Whereupon demolition brought down the building in its footprint at free fall speed.
Of course they could “contain the fire.” And skyscrapers don’t collapse from fire, ever.
The concrete floors fall down, and the frame remains standing. Always.
Remember the North Tower burned across 6 floors, for 3 hours, in 1975… BEFORE fireproofing had been applied to the steel.
And remember the Genbaku Dome – directly underneath the Hiroshima atomic bomb blast. And in the middle of the firestorm the bomb created. The steel frame of that is STILL THERE.
Why did the insurance companies not accuse Larry Silverstein of complicity in the terrorism of 9-11, and arson? Oh, maybe the executives didn’t want to “jump” off buildings and out windows.
Or they didn’t want to find their children dead, and their nanny with a cut throat.
WHO “overheard” this alleged order, lifels? Why does the FDNY think they gave the order [to vacate WTC 7 and set up a safety perimeter]? Why did all of these timid insurance execs fight the 2 planes = 2 incidents claims, which most of them WON?
Three months before 9/11 Vice President Dick Cheney usurped control of NORAD and therefore he alone had the power to call for military aircraft on the hijacked airliners on 9/11 – he did not exercise that power until after the World Trade Center and Pentagon were destroyed.

Why would a draft-dodging VP with no aviation experience whatsoever be in “control of NORAD,” pray tell? Both GeeDubya and Deadeye had the power to issue a shoot-down order, and it was done by Cheney sometime after UA 175 crashed into the South Tower and before AA 77 crashed into the Pentagon. The two F15s at Otis AFB were wheels up just as AA 11 hit the North Tower, and that’s a very quick response time considering that they relied solely on the FAA to alert them of problems with domestic air traffic.
How long did it usually take to shoot down airliners in US airspace when they were going to be used as weapons? You’re peddling nonsense.
Albury Smith we have a civilian government. No military experience is required for positions of leadership.
But a veteran was second in command of the armed forces, on 9-11. And, he was in charge of the “hijacked airliner” “DRILL” that was in progress during the attacks. NORAD — for the first time in history — needed HIS permission to scramble fighter planes, to intercept.
And he never gave that permission. None of the “planes” on 9-11 were intercepted. His name is Donald Rumsfeld.
Here is what the acting Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the armed forces told the US Senate, on September 13, 2001. “… no military aircraft was scrambled until after the Pentagon strike…”
The Pentagon was hit at 9:38 AM.

And they don't even bother to explain why the Pentagon "plane" wasn't intercepted, by fighters based close by.
There was no order to intercept, let alone shoot down. Here is what the Secretary of Transportation, Norman Mineta, said happened in the Presidential Emergency Operating Center at the White House, as the "plane" approached the Pentagon.
"There was a young man who had come in and said to the vice president, "The plane is 50 miles out. The plane is 30 miles out." And when it got down to, "The plane is 10 miles out," the young man also said to the vice president, "Do the orders still stand?" And the vice president turned and whipped his neck around and said, "Of course the orders still stand. Have you heard anything to the contrary?"
And NO the military does not "rely solely on the FAA" for information. FAA personnel are stationed at NORAD headquarters. Always. But the system is integrated.
And yes, there was a "hijacked airliner" drill in progress.
And we're not talking about SHOOTING down — we're talking about INTERCEPTION and flying alongside and taking a look and trying to communicate with pilots.
We had no intercepted "planes" that day. Why.
