Why Your Guru is Dangerous James Ray and The Pope

Here are the cliff notes for todays blog: Be your own Guru. It’s all made up. All of it. Every single piece of any spiritual system, religion, or spiritual mythology is a myth. Really. ALL OF IT.

So make up your own crazy system to believe in, cause at least it will be yours and it will make sense to you – unlike all this other crap people are forced to live with around the world.

It’s all made up. And for the 1 millionth time, clearly, all of the spiritual leaders and gurus haven’t figured this out yet – they believe that the made up stuff is real. And I have news for you – that’s dangerous.

Now these religious folks believe it because they are either mentally ill, incapable of critical thinking, in some form of denial of reality, or they are just out and out duping you. Either way, you are screwed. If you are taking advice from a mentally ill person, you will get hurt. Religion was birthed out of mental illness and duping of people, and that continues unabated today.  I mean, does The Pope really think he’s talking to the invisible man? He’s either delusional or he’s duping you. Either way you and three billion other people are in screwed.  Delusional religious folk kill people everyday in the name of their made up stories.

Take this other idiot, James Ray. This fanatical fool killed three people, and I hope he is brought up on some kind of murder charges. He deserves it.

Fortunately, one of his ex- cult followers has spoken out.

You see, this idiot really thought he was God. And guess what, so has every other delusional idiot who thinks they have special powers. God is a mythological image. Yes Virginia, god is a symbolic, made up idea. There is no “real” god. Just a bunch of paintings and stories. So if you think you have magical powers, you are deluded. Sorry. I really like you, I just can’t play your silly games any more. They’re not fun, they’re abusive, and they hurt well intending folks.

James Ray should be held accountable for his delusional thinking. His trial date is currently set for August 31st, 2010.

So should The Pope.

In my crazy but very happy universe, we can prosecute the Pope for all the people who contract and or die around the world each year from AIDS -  and other crazy things – because of his delusional, religious thinking.  A class action lawsuit is really in order for the Catholic church regarding AIDS. In my universe, we hold these delusional people responsible.

I am deeply sorry for the loss of life of the people who fell prey to James Ray, another crazy cult leader who thought he was god, or divinely inspired.

Look, the test is simple: there is no such thing as a REAL god, therefore, by definition, if somebody is seriously talking about/to god, they are suffering from a mental disorder.They are lying, delusional, or crazy. Either way, it’s bad.

God doesn’t exist in any REAL form, so you can simply disregard anything that anybody is saying about having the authority of God. This is a seriously delusional person.

And I know a ton of these people – personally. For the most part they don’t kill people. But EST began this horsecrap of pushing people beyond their boundaries back in the early 1970’s. That cult was also a severely distructive cult that continues under different names to this day – filled with delusional people who speak of integrity, and commitment. You know The Forum, and Lifespring. These cults come out of EST.  And there are thousands of others.

Look my friend, neither you or I are that important. I’m sorry your life sucks. I’m sorry that you feel that you must make up crazy stories to feel as if your life has meaning.

For me, life is pretty frikkin awesome knowing that I’m just free. It’s my life to live to the best of my ability. Either way, the result is the same. Death. The computer shuts down. And one day, without me,  boundless life continues.

That’s just the way it is kiddo.

Getting back to Mr. Ray who had lifeless bodies lying in his “transformational” sweatlodge, he needs to be dealt with swiftly and harshly to send a message to other guru’s and cult leaders around the world. Autopsy reports show that Kirby Brown and James Shore died of heat stroke and Liz Neuman died of massive organ failure and hyper thermia from prolonged exposure to excessive heat, under Mr. Ray’s all knowing God eyes. 

If you are going to pretend to be a god, then you will take full responsibility for the life and death of those under your delusional care. Mr. Ray, since you are god, we may as well bring you up on charges of genocide, since I’m sure, around the world, tens of thousands of people died this last hour. 

Oops. I’m sorry. What was that you said? Oh, your not god now. Huh. Interesting. What? You’re only a man? Really. Ok. Murder one.

Seriously folks, be your own guru, please. If you don’t know what you want, learn.  Ask yourself questions. Live your life. Live YOUR life.
