We Barely Know How to Live Life Yet We Constantly Discuss What We Believe Life Is

Human stem cells offer the potential to be a miracle cure for people of the world. These are the golden goose cells that are the building blocks for nearly everything in the human body. The only way to unlock the full potential of stem cells however, is through research.

Given that so much is at stake for humanity, it comes as no surprise that a U.S. district court this week issued a preliminary injunction, halting federal funding of human stem cell research.

This is truly perfect. I think it’s important that we keep our culture in the medical stone age.

My hope is that we can dive right back into fear, ignorance, and Christian-fanatical-domination – just as things were under the Bitch administration.

Between the Taliban, and fanatical Christian cults who bring these ridiculous lawsuits, maybe someday we’ll all go back to the good old times of Fred Flintstone yesteryear.

This was the magical, biblical good ol’ days – when things were really great – when people died of hunger, and the most basic diseases could not be cured. From dysentery, infection, STD’s, lack of clean water, rampant sewage, and huge infant mortality rates – we barely lived to the ripe old age of 25!

That’s my idea of the good old days. Let’s go back!

In 2001, then president George W. Bitch believed the second coming of Jesus would save humanity – or at least those who were born ag’in. Therefore, he considered stem cell research irrelevant and immoral; so he and congress enacted a law that made stem cell research nearly impossible.

Seizing upon this great opportunity, China wooed some of the best American scientists to do unencumbered, well funded stem cell research in China, putting the U.S. light years behind the rest of the world in research and development.

This week’s ruling by the court is doing its part to keep things that way.

Decisions like the one this week have at their core a moral, Christian-fanatical, biblical component. We ourselves barely know how to live life, yet we are compelled to constantly discuss what we believe life is – regardless of scientific knowledge, research, and evidence – ignorantly standing proud of outworn, outmoded beliefs.

I can’t help wondering if one day the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders will rule that religious fanaticism should be classified as a mental disorder.

That’s a ruling that would truly benefit humanity right now.
