Reincarnation - Why Do Some People Still Doubt It?

I remember parts of previous lives as if they were yesterday. For those that doubt me and think this is just a dream or an illusion I say to you I am certain – I have no doubt what-so-ever. My memory has been with me since before birth.
Furthest back memories.
I’m living and working in a desert city. I’m not sure where in the world, I don’t think that mattered. My task was maintaining water channels, walls, ditches and paths. I remember talk and tales of troubles in a distant town by the sea and then that town falling to an unknown enemy with a seemingly supernatural power.
A weapon that would turn sane people mindless, forget who they were and become like empty vessels, that acted like robots. I remember that strange unknown enemy getting closer and closer to our town and people being evacuated to the hills. But many of us staying to fight, not truly believing the outrageous stories of the strange enemy with the power to turn people mad. When they did finally arrive – it was true, they had some ray of madness creating sound and light that made people lose their minds completely.

Hey reincarnation makes perfect sense to me. I think the main reason why people are either still in denial or doubting it is because they are still subscribed to main stream religious dogma. That coupled with popular believe that when you die that is it. Its very liberating to fully comprehend / understand that when you die that is not it….you are set to review the life you just had through the eyes of those who you interacted with from birth to death….then you go over what needs to be worked on….all this is done by you…there is no one judging you but your true higher self. You will not be judged by an almighty ‘god’ and condemned to hell like some if not most religions will have you believe. I could go on and on. But its been ingrained in western societal thinking that death is to be feared and that you will cease to exist or if you lived a sinless life you will be sent to heaven to reign with jesus and god for an eternity… lol…that is just completely assanining. It makes no sense. we are here to learn life by life to get it right (to love and work with others) and then evolve and move on…that is the whole purpose of being in the physical. Not to come to praise jesus and then die and go to heaven to live like a king!!!! ridiculous …yes I grew up being told this and it never made any sense to me. the process makes not sense…its like going to college for a week and then getting a PHD…not going to happen
You are describing zombies in your first dream. They are made with our governments scalar weaponry. Yes, reincarnation is very real. I remember many lives and I am a most ancient being. I remember blowing up on a planet in this solar system called Marduk for one. It had many names. Part of it is the asteroid belt. It was quite an experience. Still bothering me all these thousands of years later. Mass disbelief at what had just happened We were evacuating the planet, we were at war, some of us made it, some of us didn’t.
I was Hitler in a previous life.
I remember past lives also, that’s why I could see through the lies that we are forced to live today. It just blows me away seeing that nobody even notices or care about anything…saddens me too.
I don’t think it is because people don’t believe, per se… i think it is because it is beyond totality. That means that it is impossible to know with certainty from our current standpoint.
It seems plausible, but it begins and ends there. We allow ourselves to fall for the frauds of fake religions and conceivably to convince ourselves we have memories of a past existence because we are unable to come to terms with the unknown. Life beyond this life is simply an unknown.

One perplexity arises from the fact that there are more peoploe alive today – i.e. incarnated – than have ever lived in the whole history and prehistory of our species. Unless some of them are not really people, or have no souls, then there must be lots of doubles around. You might marry yourself in an act of astral incest.

What makes you think that all the souls incarnated on earth right now have to all of been original souls on earth from earths past? My understanding is there are many souls originating not only from a past on earth here but there are a lot from many different places other than our solar system or even galaxy. I suspect myself to be of the latter group.
Perhaps people do not believe in reincarnation because the Bible in the New Testament in Hebrews 9:27 says “Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment”. There is no reincarnation in the Bible,and thus Judeo-Christian believers do not give reincarnation any validity. John the Baptist heartily denied being Elijah the Old Testament prophet returned, even though Jesus Himself said that John had come in the spirit of Elijah, as prophesied. But John was not physically or mentally Elijah, merely acting as an Elijah, a prophet.
These people with memories of “past lives” are either picking up subconscious knowledge, or knowledge given from an unknown source, possibly demonic, not “reaching back” to prior life existence. Such actions are incompatible with Christianity.
Because reincarnation is wrong,period.If people came back in another life,then why would Christ state,the dead in Christ will rise,first?When you die,you are a sleep,the soul is asleep,till He returns.you do not come back as anything.But the soul you had when you came into this world with,period.It’s your unique soul,It’s no one elses.No one has one like it.

Whatever makes you sane and sleep at night, good for you. I honestly mean it.
But please, stop with the near multipage rants and quotes from a book that was constantly rewritten (by men I might add) since Christianity’s inception. I’m not trying to beat you up on this, but please stop it. If I really want religious quotes, I’d stop by one of the hundreds of churches in my town.

Reincarnation is just as false as any other religious myth. So, my disbelief does not stem from adherence in any modern religious dogma, but rather in the very provable fact that when you die, chemical and electrical activity necessary for life simply stops. Period.
Everything you describe is more easily (and accurately) explained by comparing your ramblings to any of a number of rather clichéd, poorly-written fantasy novels.

If we lived forever,another religion would be required to reconcile us to immortality. Saviours would be whispered of, who had found the means to die. A god would be conceived of as one who could command the services of death and perpetual oblivion.

Some people are so certain about the silliness of incarnation that they would make me doubt, since I don’t have conscious memories, just an inner knowing that there is a bigger picture to our journeys here. Those people tend to be materialistic in extreme, their lives run by the desire to stand out through their competitive skills, to create envy through the supremacy of their well-developed egos. They value others for what they can offer to them, what matters is what you do and what you look like, skin-deep insight of a very self-serving mentality. Usually high achievers, since they don’t have the constraints of a mature conscience, they laugh at any metaphysical pursuits with cynical arrogance.
In Gnosis III by Boris Mouravieff, you can find the exposition of two main kinds of humans currently sharing the planet, the adamics and the preadamics. The first are the descended ones, the fallen angels, that lived in less dense dimensions until the Fall. The second are called “organic portals” and although they look perfectly human, something is missing. If you’ve ever tried to get close to one of these people, you will understand. Otherwise, it can sound far-fetched. They are a link between the second and third dimensions, and share a genetic pool, don’t live under the Law of Karma since they don’t have a spirit that reincarnates and lack any true insight into their experiences. In the energetic signature sense, the Organic Portals only count with the first three chakras, and therefore are geared for survival. All of the higher impulses that stem from the Heart or from the intuitive understanding of the Third Eye don’t have a place in their awareness, and would be considered by them as “losing” strategies. I have never been intrigued by the reincarnation belief. I have enjoyed who I am, and I personally believer there is a spiritual warfare in this planet between good and evil. Jesus/Y`shua teachings are so perfect particularly the Parables and Matthew 5 for a harmonious life. The Ten Commandments are wonderful also for living a life with protective boundaries. I have also noted when I or anyone who has turned to true agape love suddenly we experience persecution by relatives even religious people who have never entered into the realm of perfect love and unselfishness as taught by Jesus in John Chapter 3. I believe that the exhortation that Jesus/Y´shua gave the religious bigots was the main reason that they hated him so much. His teaching is down to earth and completely against the god of materialism which is one of the primary reasons for perpetual wars coupled with hatred, greed and egotism that prevails today in this world. The Scriptures warn of all the wolves in sheep`s clothing, and yet people still get deceived by all of the pomp and pageantry of the theatrical, materialistic “church.” Those of us who have experienced the Creator`s loving presence when we walk in harmony continue to believe regardless of what new scientific theory is being circulated through the educational system. Any religious leader who demands worship is false.
so is “jesus” if u worship him. we should worship noone in the first place.
If you have never experienced the joy and presence of the Creator who gave us our conscience and made such a perfect world defiled by rebellious mankind, I hope you find that peace in your lifetime. I am not talking about organized church. Most of organized church led by egostical leaders–the Merchants of Babylon. Even all of the remedies we need are contained in the herbs and leaves and bark of the trees that were freely given by the Creator. Look what the Book of Genesis says, but mankind is stubborn and makes everything so complicated and wants to be a little god.
There is another Jesus being set up to deceive the world and he will make his appearance very soon–not sure when, but it will happen.
