Rand Paul Tries To Have Abby Martin Arrested, Fired For Questioning Him

Following tough questioning by Abby Martin US Senator Rand Paul is trying to have her arrested and stripped of press credentials and trying to make RT fire her.

For the most part I have stay out of the attack against Senator Rand Paul even though has done some outrages things such as endorsing the war-mongering candidate known as Mitt Romney that his father Ron Paul is running against for the GOP nomination for president.

However, this make my blood boil because I like Abby Martin. She is a great journalist with the utmost integrity and now Rand Paul is trying to use his power in the US Senate to have her press credentials stripped, have her arrested and have her fired from her position as an RT news anchor.

This is outright Gestapo and unfortunately I have to agree with the claims the Rand Paul has now officially joined the dark side.

A week after our video with Abby Martin came out on YouTube, the RT office, where Abby works, got an ominous phone call from the Senate Media Relations Committee.

The Committee was acting on behalf of Rand Paul and threatened both Abby and the entire RT news organization.

The threats included ambiguous “charges” for violating the rules of the Committee floor, Abby’s possible arrest and the termination of her and the entire office’s press credentials.

After a month of meetings and deliberation, the Senate Media Relations office backed down and did not make good on any of their threats.
