US Ambassador Killed At Embassy By Terrorists He Helped Put In Power

Libyan security forces allow Saudi backed Islamic terrorists to kill the US ambassador and 3 other Americans in an attack the US consulate in Benghazi.

US Ambassador John Christopher Stevens and 3 other Americans have been killed at the US embassy in Libya militants from the same Islamic terrorist organizations he helped overthrow Gaddafi.

Corporate media reports say Libya security forces stepped aside and watched the attack unfolded when the Saudi backed Salafi Jihadists became violent during protests at the US embassy in Benghazi .

When it became clear Libya security forces were not going to defend the embassy the attack escalated culminating in consulate being set on fire by the terrorists.

The US ambassador is reported to have been killed the next day when Islamic extremists fired rocket propelled grenades at his car while when he came to visit the embassy.

US marines are reportedly on their way to the consulate to protect it from further attacks.

The Saudi Arabia backed Islamic fundamentalists who attacked the embassy similar attacks across Libya on a almost routine basis with the assistance of Libya security forces who often step aside and prevent third parties from intervening.

A little over a week ago the Libya Foreign Minister resigned after government security forces assisted in a weekend long spree of attacks against mosques and shrines in which several innocent civilians at the sites were simply murdered for being there.

The militants responsible for the ongoing violence in Libya and Syria are waging a Jihad on behalf of Saudi Arabia to impose the Saudi Arabia’s fundamentalist version of  Islam known as Salafism upon the rest of the Muslim population.

Saudi Arabia’s Salafi interpretation of Islam teaches Muslims who engage in religious practices not explicitly command in scripture are engaging ins some form of satanism, paganism or polygamy.

They believe such those Muslims, which make up 95-99% of world’s nearly 2 billion Muslims, are not real Muslims and need to be ‘cleansed’ from Islam.

As part of their Jihad they launch terror attacks to incite violence in other Muslim nations that do not force the Salafi version of Islam on the public.

Once they gain power the Jihadists engage in Genocidal cleansing of non-believers and run through the nation destroying Christian and Muslim holy sites such as Churches, Mosques, Holy Shrines and graves considered to be unholy.

The US ambassador to Libya was killed by local militia in an attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Reuters quoted Libyan official as saying. US embassy in Libya has not yet commented on the repor.

The White House confirmed the killing of the US ambassador to Libya and three other Americans in an attack by local militia on the American consulate in Benghazi. President Obama has condemned the attack.

The exact circumstances of ambassador Christopher Steven’s death remain unclear.

A group of extremists attacked the US consulate building in Benghazi on Tuesday night. There are reports that Stevens was not killed in the Tuesday night assault, but was attacked by a second mob when he arrived in Benghazi Wednesday morning, according to the Guardian.

Libyan officials say the ambassador and three other embassy staff members were killed after Islamist militants fired rockets at their car.

President Obama and NATO’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen have condemned the attack.

“Chris was a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States. Throughout the Libyan revolution, he selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi,” Obama said in a statement.

Libyan officials have expressed their condolences, as well.

“We apologise to the United States, the people and to the whole world for what happened,” Libya’s interim president Mohammed Magarief said in a news conference.

“We confirm that no one will escape from punishment and questioning,” Magarief continued.

According to witnesses cited by local media, the attackers included members of the hardline Islamist group Ansar Al-Sharia.

The US diplomatic facility in eastern Libya was evacuated following violent clashes, and an enraged crowd of militia members stormed the building and set it on fire.

Tunisian Salafis are now calling for an attack on their country’s US embassy, Tunisian media reported. Salafis had previously attempted to attack the embassy, but were repelled by security forces. Many expect another attack.

President Obama has ordered increased security for US diplomatic personnel around the world.

According to CNN, a Marine Corp security team is headed to Libya to reinforce the US embassy in Tripoli.

The violence was part of a protest against an American amateur film “Innocence of Muslims” deemed offensive to the Prophet Muhammad. A similar incident took place in Cairo, Egypt’s capital.

The film was produced by a US-based group that includes Terry Jones, a Christian pastor involved in a Koran-burning scandal that triggered mass protests in Afghanistan. On the anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001, he released a video promoting the film that portrays the Prophet in a “satirical” manner, according to Jones.

Ambassador John Christopher Stevens was born in northern California in 1960.

He was first sent to Libya in June 2007 as deputy chief of the country’s US mission. He served as chargé d’affaires at the Tripoli embassy until 2009.

Stevens came to Libya for a second time in April 2011, arriving on a cargo ship. The US government sent him to rebel headquarters in Benghazi to serve as a special representative to the Libyan National Transitional Council.

In March 2012, Stevens was named America’s ambassador to Libya.
