Some Fukushima Radiation Will Stay in Environment 30 Years--video and pictures

by Monica Davis

One thing that drives me crazy about the misinformation and disinformation about Fukushhima environmental radiation is: nobody wants to talk about the dangers of  COMMULATIVE  RADIATION EXPOSURE.

That’s right–cummulative exposure.  The actual build up of radiation IN THE ENVIRONMENT AND IN OUR BODIES..

That’s the cummulative, combined and ongoing exposure in the air, in food, in water, in milk. And in rain.

Propagandists and minimalists dismiss exposre, likening it to the general atmospheric radiation that occurs naturally. But, what infuriates many environmentalists is the fact that the US government is not even monitoring marine radiation, so how can they say the environment is not contaminated if they are not monitoring it for contamination?

Some types of Fukushima radiation have short half lives and disappeared from the  environment in das: others have half lives of 30 years and will remain dangerous for 30 years–or more.Source

On the one hand, there is a tendency for governments to cover up the truth to avoid panic and deflect blame for bad policy. Japan is poised to pass a bill which would outlaw most reporting on Fukushima. And the U.S. government is not even monitoring radiation levels in the waters off the U.S. coast. As the Cape Cod Times reports: READMOREHERE

The graphhic below shows the spread of radiation in seawater, but the rain cycle evaporates those waters and then spews radiation all over the place in the form of rain. Radioactive rain, radioactive ocean water, radioactive marine life–fish, whales, bottom feaders, radioactive food chain.

Radiation damage is cumulative: a little bit, plus some more can increase ur cancer risk.
