Brevard County, FL Police Buy 8 Apache Attack Helicopters (Video)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

via Rick Falkvinge FB Page

The militarization of police in the US reaches new levels. Police in Brevard, Florida, USA have bought eight AH-64D Apache gunships.

Eight heavy attack helicopters! That’s enough to defend (or invade) a small country. What are the civilian police supposed to do with that kind of equipment, shoot graffiti? With hundreds of Hellfire anti-tank missiles and 30-millimeter autocannons?

Of all the military equipment police havethese days in ole’ Americana, this is the most insane.  At least until some police dept. in some podunk Iowa town decides they want a M1A1 Abrams anyways.  Below you will see what Apaches are capable of doing.   I ask you this, why do they need this?

See Stage III of the UN document “Freedom From War” also known as “State Department Publication 7277″. The Military is being down sized and the Police are being militarized to come into compliance with the United Nations and its programs. Department of Homeland Security being established as an internal force to subjugate the American People to World Socialism.

      Dear People,

At $18 Million per unit x 8 = $144,000.000.00, thus it seems that this county has more tax payer money being spent on control rather than for the benefit of its tax base.

This is a far stretch from the benefit to the citizens.

Thus WILLNOT BOW has provided a rational that is well within the platform of Logic, as well WNB has provided documentation index’s that will allow even the most simple minded to prove to themselves the end game that’s being played out before our very eyes.

      Peace Shalom

Thank God someone else see’s through all the BS here!

PS….An Apache Attack Helicopter costs the taxpayers a cool $87,000,000 each and their not for sale to the general public or local police agencies…

          NEVER believe this man!
He is a WAR CRIMINAL BABY KILLER and a LIAR

        • neanderthal

Can you show me the bill of sale on that product since you seem to have all that information at your leasure?

please also define a taxpayer and who they are because i was informed that only about 50 per cent pay taxes.

Then define the difference between a sale, a loan, and a gift to your local yocals?

Frankly, as long as I have my drone, I don’t give a damn.

How is it that it is assumed AH-64′s are the helicopters that were purchased? I see that they purchased eight aircraft, rotary wing, but the specific model is not listed.
A quick search on the internet indicates the price of an AH-64 to be a little over 50 million dollars.
      http://helicopters.findthebest.com/l/61/Boeing-AH-64-Apache

According to the “proof” offered by the Face Book page that is the source of this article, the aircraft assumed to be Apaches cost 18 million dollars a copy.

    • kepano24

nothing above proves which helos were purchased. Show porrf not a non descript item list..oh i forgot this is BIN website…..never any proof my bad doh!

    • DD

No they didnt… U guys are a joke.

    • Some_dude

Where is there evidence of Apache gunships ? I see 8 rotary aircraft

I was born & raised in Brevard County, known as the Space Coast and (the old) home to NASA/Cape Canaveral, and Ron Jon’s Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach. Oh, and I Dream of Jeannie

I can think of little reason the county needs EIGHT Apache’s, much less one. NASA has it’s own heavily armed & equipped govt protective forces, including Patrick Air Force Base, and they’re very visible during the frequent satellite launches.

BC cops already have a bad rep…this isn’t gonna help that image.

    • Some_dude

Now you got people parroting this nonsense on youtube lol OP of this garbage is a fear monger shill I think .

And to the guy saying BCS have a bad rep already . I live in Brevard right now and Brevard county sheriffs are ALOT better than many LEOs and have always been fair with me . I even asked one one day what their position was on federal gun confiscation and he said ” We uphold the constitution so while we wont be getting in their way if that unlikely event happens we wont be assisting them either. ” Didnt ask for my name or ID after asking such a provactive question or nothing. I shook that deputy’s hand .

      • MileHiLife

Dude, I’m born & raised in Brevard, lived there over 25 of my 47 years, and still work there (Rockledge) though live in Stuart for the past few years. I happen to know a few BCS’s and they’re good cops. That said, I also happen to know of, via those cops, others on the force who aren’t so straight and narrow. I won’t share it here (see; NSA) but you may be surprised of a few habits and associations of some, not all, on the force. Sure, could be said of most depts across the land including here in Martin Co, too.

I’m glad the cop you met said they uphold the Constitution, but really — what else would he say?? “Nah, F the Constitution — we’re coming for your guns”?

Ironically, yesterday I personally witnessed a loud military helicopter flying a low, serpentine path almost as if to “show off” up & down US1. Not a usual site in this county as no military base is nearby, and it wasn’t flying to or from the local airport. No biggie, just an observation considering all that’s currently going on in our country.

        • Some_dude

He could have said . We must comply with all federal regulations and mandates . So if we are told to assist federales we must assist the federales.

And Also he wouldn’t have told me ” Thats highly unlikely but if it does happens bury your firearms ” which he did also .

a 1 1/2 hr drive from Patrick airforce base is also about maybe 10 min to 40 min flight time via mil craft depending on what type we are referring to . Thats routine training orbit around a base.

Not to mention the fact there is ABSOLUTELY no proof BSCO purchased apache gunships other than the rantings of some guy with no links , no detailed purchase order.

I mean you people are aware BSCO as well as others have air units that consist of standard Bell and other make of helos this could be referring to correct.

Also to be noted is that simultaneously Apache helicopters have been repossessed by the Federal Government from State National Guards around the nation. We reportedly were sending some overseas to one of our Muslim “allies” and the others seem to be going to reinforce the police state. I guess they figure the National Guard might actually try to put up a fight but Police would go along with the tyranny. Notice that the National Guard in Ferguson was not in flak jackets armed with ARs. They looked infinitely more civil than the storm trooper cops.

    • Some_dude

Body armor and M4s are one thing 8 apache gunships is quite another.

Do not believe everything you read on the internet. Puleeze, people. I have it on extremely good authority that this is not the case. For starters, this article was just published several days ago. Yet, the picture clearly indicates a sale date of 2011. It does not take three years to take possession of already-built aircraft, especially under the 1033 program.

As of very recently, Brevard County only had three OH-58 and one UH-1 helicopters, all of which were obtained through the Federal government program.

But if you’d rather jump on the bandwagon and assume what you’ve read on the net is gospel, then I have a bridge to sell you.

    • sully

Yet again I am amazed at the lack of any sort of fact in this “story”…which is what it is, a story. “Rotary wing” refers to ANY helicopter. If I had to guess it would likely be an OH-6 or a Bell helo of some type. These stories, always totally devoid of proof or fact, do nothing to propel us towards knowing what is going on and instead only serves to muddy the waters.

When I see a fantastical headline and think, “wow, really?” and see the link is a beforeitsnews.com link I discount it entirely given the horrible track record of this site.

Whether this exact story is true or not does not negate the fact that most local United States police have been heavily armed after 9-11. This is not by accident. Let’s not let others detract from this fact.
DOD and Homeland Security have facilitated this and promoted it. The American people, asleep at the helm, have either cheered it on or been careless in their vigilance and don’t think powerful people aren’t taking advantage of it!
A lot of back room deals have been done benefitting defense contractors and already wealthy people at the expense of tax payers.
It also helps militarize the police which is what we are witnessing in our culture, creating fear and conformity of the masses. It circumvents posse comitatus cleanly and under the noses of the population.
The overall belligerent attitude of us vs them by police agencies will continue as they protect their own until the people who they are supposed to be serving say enough is enough and throw off their chains.
I don’t see that happening any time soon, sadly unless things get really bad.
