Mike Brown: #Ferguson White Cop Kills Unarmed Black Youth. Hundreds Storm Streets, Thousands Storm Twitter

The so-called “War On Whites” took yet another turn Saturday, the second time in a week that an officer shot dead a black youth, this time shooting an unarmed youth with his hands up three times in Ferguson, Missouri. The killing has sent sending hundreds into the streets to protest and many more expressing their outrage on Twitter in a #Ferguson hashtag campaign. Earlier this week, a white cop killed a black youth in an Ohio Walmart.

Multiple witnesses say Michael (Mike) Brown, 18, had no weapon on him, had his hands up in the air, but authorities shot him multiple times.

After shot the first time, Mike Brown held up his hands to show the officers that he had no weapon.

The officer, however, fired at him two more times until he collapsed and died in the street.

The body of Mike Brown was left in the middle of the street for hours before it was removed.

Mikes mother says police have said nothing to her “cause they have nothing to say.”

Multiple police agencies were called to Ferguson, Missouri Saturday afternoon after a fatal officer-involved shooting, sparking outrage among hundreds of residents.

 

News 4′s Cory Stark, who is on the scene, said he saw a man lying dead on Coppercreek Road. Police confirm there was an officer-involved shooting, near the Canfield Green Apartments. A large section of West Florissant Avenue was closed by police at Canfield Drive.

 

According to Stark, there are at least 100 police cars and numerous officers armed with M-16′s in the area. Stark also says hundreds of people have gathered at the intersection of West Florissant Avenue and Canfield Drive to protest the incident. A large police force from 15 different departments responded, including riot-control officers.

 

Multiple witnesses say 18-year-old Mike Brown had no weapon on him, had his hands up in the air, but was shot by authorities multiple times.

 

“He (the officer) shot again and once my friend felt that shot, he turned around and put his hands in the air,” said Dorian Johnson, a friend Brown’s. “He started to get down and the officer still approached with his weapon drawn and fired several more shots.”

“He was a good kid. He didn’t live around here,” said Desuirea Harris, grandmother of the victim. “He came to visit me and they did that to him for no reason.”

The St. Louis County NAACP has launched an investigation of the shooting saying they plan to “get to the bottom of what has occurred and will work to ensure that justice is served for all victims involved.” Read more.

Following the shooting this afternoon of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, a public that has grown tired of unarmed African-Americans being gunned down, either by police or citizens ‘standing their ground,’ took to Twitter to express their dismay at what seems to be an escalating trend.

U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., claims liberals are waging a “war on whites,” a claim that has sent thousands to Twitter to participate in a “War on Whites” hashtag campaign.

“This is a part of the war on whites that’s being launched by the Democratic Party,” Brooks said.

Meanwhile, the “white cop shoots black youth” headlines along with jails an dprisons bursting with mainly with people of color continue proving that United States Apartheid is the reality that racists continue to deny.
