On January 1st, 2015 Facebook Will Drop a "Bombshell" That Will Straight-Up Infuriate You!! Find Out What Now Before It's Too Late...

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Major news is about to be released from the infamous privacy stealing company known as Facebook. All users will be asked around January 1st, 2015, to accept the new terms. But just what are these mysterious “new terms” being bolstered by Facebook? How about the fact that they want to allow third parties like the CIA, FBI, NSA, etc. to collect information not only from your Facebook page but from your computer, your phone, and any other device you access Facebook from. Joe Biggs Infowars reporter brings us the latest…

Update:

Check out this Government Request Info I found on Facebook:https://govtrequests.facebook.com/country/United%20States/2013-H2/

Also Here is More proof, plus proof Snopes is not sharing all the details…

If by now you haven’t figured out that Facebook is in cahoots with the government, then I feel for you but for those who are well aware of the issues it’s high time you switched over to Seen.is a place similar to Facebook but without all the censorship crap!

Here are some of the differences you’ll find at Seen.is:

No censorship!  Keep in mind we do have a Terms of Service that will need to be followed for things like pornography, copyright violations and defamation.  If we receive a complaint, we’ll investigate.  If you are accustomed to the freewheeling style at Before It’s News, we think you’ll enjoy Seen.is

NO ID required.  Facebook is now asking certain people for their ID’s.  That’s beyond the pale. You can use whatever name you’d like at Seen and no ID required.

No search crawlers.  We’re blocking those critters because once they crawl a page, whatever you posted is theirs forever.  We think you should be able to delete things if you make a mistake.  We know this will hurt the traffic, but we think you’ll appreciate this.

We don’t sell your data, in fact we don’t even collect it (other than your email so you can receive notifications).  It’s hosted in Iceland and selling data isn’t allowed there.  A very good reason to go visit Iceland.  A lot of very friendly people there, too.

No limit to your account’s friends.  If you’re popular enough to get over 5,000 friends, we think that’s great!  More power to you!

Private and secure chat rooms are coming soon!  It looks like we might be able to get private chat rooms on Seen in a couple of weeks, too.  These are strongly encrypted and there’s no snooping.

The way Facebook is headed in the New Year it’s not going to be a place you want to stay. Sign up and create an account at Seen.is today and get away from this invasive censorship!

Here is a video about Seen.is if you want to check it out:

Facebook cost me my marriage four years ago. Haven’t used it since. There were plenty of other reasons not to use it, but i couldn’t help it, i was addicted. old flames were contacting me, and the wife got jealous and we just couldn’t reconcile after that. It’s the devil! lol. I’ve been “Charlie Harper” who likes to check out and comment on BiN ever since.

      • srsly1

Seems to me your penis got you in trouble, not facebook. However, blame who you want if it makes you feel better.

        • Bob Blaster

I hate it when that happens ……

        • The Real Deal

Where in that comment i made did i say i cheated on my wife, smart guy? I said my wife got jealous of old flames contacting me. You were too busy jumping at the chance to take a shot at me that you failed in your reply, and made yourself look like an idiot. Karma sucks don’t it?

        • Norry

Where in srsly 1 comment did He/She say you cheated on your wife, dumb guy ?
          Idiot?
Not only your penis but your aggressive EGO got you into strife with your wife !

Yes Karma sucks but going by your comment to srsly1 so do you.

        • Seeqer

Still not Facebook’s fault. I don’t know the specifics but if you have to hide what you’re doing, it’s cheating. If you WEREN’T hiding what you were doing, then she had no reason to be jealous.

        • Tu Hung Lo

My dear family, guess what? Today I found out what my special purpose is for. Gosh, what a great time I had. I wish the whole family could’ve been here with me. Maybe some other time as I intend to do this a lot. Every chance I get. I think next week I’ll be able to send more money as I may have extra work. My friend Patty has promised me a b*** job. Your loving son, Navin.

      • No time

Maybe I could use Facebook to help me get rid of the Hog that I am with.

      • Equalizer

The Real Deal… I’m sorry to hear about your marriage… Psychologists say it carries the same level of grief as a death in the family. Statistics show 80% of divorce attorneys contribute Facebook as a sizable factor in divorce cases since its conception.

      • Impeachment Now!

Your right, you don’t have to DO anything WRONG except be silly enough to put your name and stats on a page and you can have all kinds of loons coming at you. Don’t blame your wife (though I’ve never been through it) but sooner or later were there’s smoke there is flame (fire). Old saying never truly get old. Facebook, Youtube and Twitter have been the downfall of at least two generations because the “common sense” factor gets completely left out of the equation. Sorry you lost yours, both wife and common sense at the same time.

        • The Real Deal

I didn’t lose a wife, i gained a lot of girlfriends…and your wife could be one of ‘em.

        • CrowPie

      • CrowPie

I believe that why he said, “I didn’t lose a wife.”

        • NM156

On January 1 this old outdated worthless story will still be on BIN

      • fedupwithcowards

Sorry to hear that RD……Im voluntary going to rehab I know what its like to be addicted I cant say no to beers at night………………

        • The Real Deal

          I like ‘em too bro.

        • Equalizer

fedupwithcowards… be careful with any “documentable” rehab/clinics etc. Your personal information is forwarded to big brother and can/will be used against you at a later date if necessary to take away your rights (ask any veteran who has attended “anger management” classes. Stay anonymous.

        • neanderthal

LMFAO that calls for another scotch and water TALL.

        • CrowPie

“LMFAO that calls for another scotch and water TALL.”

          That explains a lot.

      • irishmist55

Facebook is what YOU make of it, you apparently gave her reason to be angry, myself i pronote the Lord, love & positivity, my husband supports me, and i have the nicest people on my list, I chose for my wall to be this way, it’s called being a responsible adult!

        • The Real Deal

Right, i gave her a reason to be angry…i mean of course, it couldn’t possibly be that she was just a very insecure, jealous person. Whatever makes me out to be the bad guy, right? lol

Obviously, you’re much smarter, and more responsible…i can tell. lol

Anyways, keep giving your personal info to the gov’t, Mrs. Responsible.

        • Jax

That’s easy to say when you’re 100 years old now aint it?

        • enterprise77

The Real Deal? yeah, the real deal is you weren’t devoted to your wife. A wife can’t be jealous of women contacting you, she can be angry if you responded and took up time with them rather than her. Facebook wasn’t the problem, you were.

        • The Real Deal

          @Enterprsie…Riiiight.

You don’t even know me. lol

The funniest part about your comment was how you immediately defaulted to me “not being devoted to my wife”.

Pretty bold statement for someone who has never even met me.

But it’s all good, homie. If you feel the need to hate on someone…go ahead and hate on me.

      • hateriarch

I don’t agree with srsly1, but it isn’t facebooks fault. It is your fault for not tending to your wife. (I too divorced 4 years ago. Not because fakebook though) With that said, no one should ever use that stupid site. Everyone screams about the NSA and eavesdropping, but then they plaster their whole lives on the damn internet. Talk about cognitive dissonance.

      • Norry

Where in srsly 1′s comment did He/She say cheated on your wife, you dumb A !

I know who the idiot is, and yes, you and karma both suck by the look of it.

Looks like not only your penis but your EGO as well got you into strife with your wife.

        • The Real Deal

If you think my ego is bad, you should see me putt!

      • enterprise77

Old flames contacted my husband also, we are still married and plan on staying that way. The problem was not them trying to contact you, the problem was probably you responding and having lengthy chats with them. I nipped that in the bud immediately. It’s nothing more than online dating with your ex’s. He could have kept contact and kept it up but chose me above them and chit chat. Good choice because I too would bail if that became his entertainment. Facebook is evil if you let it be evil and apparently you did. Sorry you chose old flames over your wife.

        • The Real Deal

If you ever leave your husband, give me a call.

        • Bill Lyle

Is it common for you to decide whom your husband speaks with? How about what he watches? Perhaps you can read to him, so as not to let him decide what to read. If it’s only idle conversation, who is anyone to deny anyone anything?
If he acts on any “suspicious” conversation, then by all means, do something. Until then, the man has a right to communicate with whomever he chooses.

      • Koala

How in the world is Facebook at fault? If you were conversing with old flames, you are at fault for your failed marriage.. That is no different than blaming fast-food restaurants for making people fat…

        • The Real Deal

          Nice try, but uh…no. lol

The wife of course had my pw to my FB as a condition of using it. I would get woken up at 3am with a punch in the face from a jealous wife because an old flame sent me a friend request once while i was sleeping. That’s how the breakup got started.

          Thanks for understanding. lol

      • MG

comxsocial.net – privacy, safe, secure and blocks 3rd party data collection. It’s the best social network that doesn’t sell your private data. – I’m MG and I approve this message.

      • Anonymous

As if anyone would contact you about anything, EVER. LOL.
I’m sure you’re quite the stud (between your ears). If you even ever had a wife she probably left for more valid reasons, like inadequate sexual performance or that you’re a 24 karat tool (amongst others)?
Don’t blame FB or your “made up ex-flames”…look in the mirror and take a good, long, hard look for the answer.

        • The Real Deal

Oh i’m crushed. Coming from a knuckle-dragging mouth breather like you, i’ll take that as a compliment. Now go on upstairs, son, your hot pocket is ready. Oh and tell your Mom to bring my $40 next time she comes over!

        • Godzilla

Good luck finding “the total package” wanker.

        • Anonymous

Aw deal..bit close to the bone huh? How do you even sleep? No wonder they don’t let you anywhere near children anymore!

      • Godzilla

Unless you went overboard communicating with ex girlfriends, it just proves your wife was a jealous person whom probably did not date much before she married you. She is an insecure person and not fit to be your spouse. Move on and find the person that is right for you.

        • The Real Deal

Thank you. Apparently Anonymous didn’t read the part where i got punched in the face around 3am after the wife checked my FB and found a friend request from a former GF. I gues because i wan’t there to decline the friend request, according to Anonymous, i should have been punched in the face by her jealous a$$.

    • Welcoming Truth

NSA was keeping phone recordson people for years before it was disclosed.

If you don’t think Facebook is funneling this info to some agency for analysis or retention your fooling yourself!

      • Sun Rabbit

Of course it is. How else do you think Zuckerberg made BILLIONS on it when it’s free to use. He’s taking YOUR information and selling it to THEM.

        • Anonymous

          Ummmmmm…..advertising maybe?

    • MG

      i use comxsocial.net

it’s facebook without any of the data collection.

CHILDREN, LISTEN TO ME, I WEEP AS THE HOUR IS HERE…SO MANY ARE GOING TO DIE AND BE SEPARATED FROM ME. THEY CHOSE A LIFE APART FROM ME. THEY CHOSE A LIFE THAT I DID NOT WANT THEM TO HAVE, BUT I GAVE THEM TIME TO RETURN TO ME. I CALLED THEM BUT THEY DID NOT LISTEN. NOW THERE IS NO TIME LEFT, AND JUDGEMENT MUST BE CAST OUT UPON THEM.

WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE IN DISOBEDIENCE? MY HEART HAS BEEN BROKEN, AND THE INNOCENT HAVE BEEN SLAUGHTERED, AND THE HUNGRY ARE DYING BECAUSE YOU FEED YOURSELVES FIRST AND DO NOT THINK OF THE LEAST OF THESE CHILDREN. WHY MUST I HOLD BACK MY JUDGEMENT?

YOU ARE WASTING AWAY IN THE FILTH THAT YOU HAVE CREATED. I ONLY WANTED THE BEST FOR YOU. I HAVE GIVEN YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED TO LIVE AND THRIVE, BUT YOU CHOSE AS EVE DID AND SAW YOURSELF WISER THAN YOUR GOD.

THIS DAY HAS BEEN FORETOLD AND THE MEN OF OLD HAVE WARNED YOU, BUT YOU CHOSE TO KEEP YOUR EYES SHUT, AND YOUR EARS CLOSED. SO WHEN YOU CRY OUT TO ME WITHOUT A TRUE CONTRITE HEART I WILL NOT LISTEN. I WILL ALWAYS HEAR THE VOICE OF MY CHILDREN WHO LOVE ME AND HAVE FOLLOWED MY COMMANDMENTS.

JUDGEMENT WILL BE SWIFT AND PRECISE. BEFORE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO CRY OUT YOU WILL BE GONE. CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU WILL SERVE, AND CRY OUT TO ME AS I WILL HEAR THOSE WHO ARE PURE IN SPIRIT, YOUR FATHER LOVES YOU AND DESIRES TO BE WITH THOSE WHO LOVE ME AND LIVE FOR ME-MANETTE AFTER PRAYER AND FASTING

Angel31, when every single link from BusinessInsider goes to Facebook, to give you the ‘information’ on things, such as ‘Privacy Basics’, then it’s nothing but a linking tool, not an investigative article.

Ploy to change? Try truth on the deeper issues.

Facebook is a data aggregation tool just as bad as Google, and it was sanctioned by the U.S. Government, among other governments, to ensure that they know the absolute most about every single person they can convince to use the service. After all, it’s so much easier and affordable to have you turn yourself and 10 of your best friends into the gestapo, than to have to put 10-gestapo on the streets just to research and investigate each one of you at a time. It’s not conspiracy, it’s simply following the blueprint that Hitler first established for his own state police, that worked so well then. Doubt any of this? Then you really need to better-explain Operation Paperclip to the audience, before you keep talking like a government disinformation troll.

    • worldordernews

good thing i don’t use that infernal website

    • Rosarito

Who reading this site even still uses Facebook?

    • Anonymous

If you are still on Facebook you are severely retarded, not just intellectually impaired. You deserve whatever you get.

    • Doccus

They’re not going to let you click “yes or no” They’ll just assume you accept unless you sue them… Otherwise anyone could simply close their account by clicking “no”

      • Doccus

So.. anyone know? I only ever opened a facebook account to promote my music. Never gave anything but the bare minimum of details.. So-called “friends” were just other musicians.. Other than Bob Welch, none of them were ever very helpful or “friendly”. Sadly. however, Bob died. Somehow thet was enough to help him get off FB, but apparently, death isn’t normally enough of a reason… The others are all still alive , and still on facebook. (!)

      • Godzilla

Dude its actually simple. They will have a link to their new privacy policy which will be about a 3 hour long read for those are not too bored to actually read it, and 99% of the people will simply click “I accept the terms” to continue using it. HAPPENS ALL THE TIME GUARANTEED! If you reject their policy update then you lose your account. No stupid person wants to lose their account. Duh!

    • VirusGuard

Facebook, Twiiter and Google along with Microsoft are all CIA/NSA financed so no compertion can touch them untill people decide that privacy is everything.

These corporations distort infomation but hiding it or presenting the information in a way thats suites the US/UK Government and data is just falling off the net all the time.

Personal Google results is just a way to hide Google fixing the search results and having an excuse to say they are not censoring the internet.

Yes we are being watched more than most of us will ever know and the four names i mentioned at the top are the worlds worse.

    • truther357

or Google or ATT-yahoo or AOL-Huff Post or Myspace or MSN or Hollywood or the MSM !

    • Arte Vespule

I don’t use any social media. As far as I am concerned they are all monitored by various governments anyway. The US gov has been “in bed with” the telecom industry since the very beginning. They have collection centers in all the main trunk lines for phone and internet and any other data going through. They can grab faxes or anything else they want to. Don’t believe this if you wish. But everything and anything you put into a wire, or a radio wave, is fair game for the government. Sure they need warrants to make it legal for court etc. But, seriously, do you think they really care about legal? These people kill others nearly every day. Trust me, they don’t care about you…

    • Ardin

I don’t understand why people upload their entire lives to Facebook and then get angry at Facebook for storing information about their entire lives.

      • Down to EarthThinking.com

I agree, anybody with half a brain should have figured out a long time ago FB is a ruse in some ways . So of course you should only put up what you want out there ? In other words don’t trust such crap and control it yourself not the other way around. I have a FB page(Down to Earth Prepper.com) and a website (www.downtoearththinking.com) and I control it not the other way around ? no big deal just common sense. Just realize we live in massive illusions and the control freaks are4 alive and well and running what we call the government !

      simple solution: don’t use facebook.
I have never been on facebook.
the rare times I am navigated there by search, I leave the area immediately when I realize it.
they track everything you do and are a back door to the alphabet government agencies.
just stay away from it, completely.
      you’ll survive just fine.

    • Keep Singing

One great way to add credibility is to post information links. For instance, any proof that Facebook intends the things in the video would be good.

I would really love to see the links. If you are researching to write this, then I’m sure you have them. Other geeky people would probably like to see them too,

    • neanderthal

Never have used any social medial bullcrap for I always knew it was an info gathering instrument. Only stupid ass people would be on a social site to inform everyone on their BS.

It has absolutely amazed me. SO have it your way as far as it being a bombshell

Facebook has allowed the U.S. marines to have rape pages and also say they want to kill people and nothing has been done!

      http://theusmarinesrape.com/FaceBook.html

      • The Real Deal

Look, i’ve read your claims of rape. It doesn’t make any sense. Why would a guy come home and rape a girl who waited for him for two years while overseas? She waited for him. She would have given him sex anytime he wanted it, so why would he have to rape her? I don’t believe your BS story.

I think the Marine probably dissed her by dating other girls while she was at home like a dummy waiting for him…and then when he came home, he didn’t want anymore to do with her, so she claimed rape. this story has more holes than a slice of swiss cheese.

    • WatchmanOfEzekiel33

Truth being if you are anywhere online you can be traced directly back to your ISP and then to your own house unless you go hopping across multiple proxy servers.

    • Rivahmitch

That’s why I never have used FB nor will I in the future. You need to understand that the goal is to make private life public. After all, the view is you’re just a serf who is now becoming public property. For those who think being a slave in the 17th 18th or 19th centuries was bad, consider being one owned and controlled lock, stock and barrel by “society”. Those who choose to become public property will find it easy and convenient do so.

Everything that was mentioned via facebook is happening now

    • Andor

It is your own choice what to put on Facebook or not. Facebook can be an ideal tool if used correct and not to brag with your material things and personal matters.
Why talk to your friends and loved ones close by on Facebook where you can have a personal telephone call rather? Why put all your pictures on Facebook telling the world where you live, how you live and when you go on holiday??
Hahahahah it is your own fault if Facebook causes you any harm!!! Nobody else!

Just one problem, being as how all web sites wants you to post or check out their FB page, how will seen.is overcome this obstacle? Instead of posting to FB how will we be able to post to seen.is, with a link inside a web page, besides copy and paste?

    • HfjNUlYZ

Been ” facebook clean” for 6 weeks. Harder than giving up cigerettes but knew I needed to get off facebook.best and worst invention of our time :/

    • Astral Silence

Hey listen, this all might be true about what Facebook is about to pull BUT…are all you people too blind to see that this article is a COMMERCIAL for a website trying to compete with Facebook? Seriously, many of you try to act so enlightened and smart about “what’s really happening”, yet you’re taking the word of a COMMERCIAL literally? Sorry, you could be telling me the cure for all cancers but if you’re also trying to sell me something then how can I believe you? Especially if the thing you are telling me about is the competition to the product you’re trying to sell me.

The internet belonged to the military in the first place before it was put out to pasture. If we use such sites and boast our lives into the ether, what can we really expect? I have taken the view of the internet as I view life, keep things private that you would rather not allow people to know, and only converse with friends via pgp email. Those millions of members on FB are in for a rude awakening at some point and as one unfortunate soul has posted, it cost him his marriage. I too was ‘tempted’ to consider the use of FB, Myspace etc…but when I sat and thought about it, the question that hit me was “Why?” do people need to know my whereabouts or what I’m doing on a daily basis? In the 70′s – before the internet fired up, we used to read and play in the woods, swim in the canals and lakes, in short – we enjoyed the simple things in life. Now look at us…I’m ashamed at myself for owning a digital tv, camera, phone and laptop!! We NEVER needed these years ago, so why now? We knew how to make far better use of our time, as opposed to sitting and texting on a screen that causes headaches, and what’s more – we were much FITTER than we are today!! Look at the amount of obese people these days, it’s staggering isn’t it? No one walks anymore! They pick their sprogs up from school in their MPV’s where we were MADE to walk to school – “It’ll do you good lad, now get to school!” was a regular expression in my household. People are scared of their own shadows it’s disgraceful it really is. I was walking my dog the other night, I decided that we would make a detour through the woods, but wait! It’s DARK :/ then I came across a woman walking two small dogs, both had collars that flashed on and off – I’m not kidding either :) she was carrying a torch which seemed a plausible thing to do until I explained to her that she was advertising herself to any wanten attackers. She turned the torch off and quickened the pace somewhat. I and my staffy walked through the woods, the moonlight was beautiful, you could see quite clearly. However, my point is that people are losing (have lost?) their common sense, their ability to survive without all these electronic devices has dropped to an all time low, instead they would rather watch ‘bear grylls” do his thing, showing people how to survive. We, not too long ago, had this innate ability within us, but I do fear the worst for the modern-day human, who has no idea how to survive in the wild…its a travesty and we should all be ashamed at what we’ve allowed ourselves to become.

I have a big problem when a news article has a name of something you should move to. As it then becomes a big advertisement instead of objective. And someone is making money off you to switch, so maybe they can sell your data. How did they find this rare and utopian social media. Cough

      Dear Beforeitsnews,

Please stay on top of this story and update it regularly in every way possible between now and Jan 1st. I have posted it to my FB page and will do so twice a week until the end of the month to try to get everyone to see it and have time to consider the matter and share it to get their friends, etc. I also posted and recommended Seen.is.

Some people, however, are looking the matter up and, of course, finding all kinds of articles on the upcoming changes that make it seem benign or business-as-usual. They post these links on my fb page about the matter to show what they are finding, such as http://bostinno.streetwise.co/2014/11/25/facebook-terms-of-service-update-coming-jan-1-2015/ and say things like: ” I’m not sure how accurate the article is, but…”

New, ongoing articles from sources like you have to keep coming out to counter this and make the push to ditch FB aggressive, credible, and up-to-the minute. I am telling everyone possible about Seen.is but there is less than 3 weeks left to pull this off. I don’t know how to respond to the people who post links to my page such as the one above without some new commentary to offer.

Thanks for this piece in the first place and the video about Seen.is.

It don’t bother me much, they can SPY on me all they want. They would soon get very very BORED. Thats the thing with most of us, if we aren,t involved in anything, and we have nothing to hide, then they won’t be spying on us and collecting information……there’s enough ad guy out there to keep the staff busy full time…..

    • Dr

Our right to privacy stems from our protection from unwarranted search – and ultimately to the inalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. But such rights are commonly treated by government bureaucrats as though your privacy should only protect you from private citizens. Read the Bill of Rights. Its primary purpose is to limit those who would misuse government power, including information collected on private individuals. There should be no power by any of these agencies to stockpile information on law abiding citizens – to the extent that to even individually identify each citizen is a questionable if not completely unconstitutional practice. This is why income tax should be repealed – it asks for practically any conceivable private information that should all be kept private. Instead, citizens should not be taxed by the federal government, but rather those in congress with a direct vote who represent us should personally have the responsibility to collect from their own constituency their equal share of the tax collected. That amount should satisfy their spending. States whose US congressmen fail to raise their share of the tax are unworthy and should be kicked out of the union. (note that DC is not a state and cannot therefore ever be kicked out of the union)

Look, I don’t mean to interfere, but why are you fighting like little kids? The Real Deal made a comment and srsly started it. SRSLY you picked on him first and he replied like any one would. That wasn’t nice of you to do.

Please stick to the topic. I use FB for my business and it works just fine. I never post personal things. If you watch what you say and do on FB then who cares if the FBI, CIA or anyone else wants to find out. As long as it isn’t my bank account I am fine. I think if you have something to hide then you should worry otherwise they don’t scare me at all.

    • janetspillows

On second thought I think I might change my mind. I don’t want anyone accessing my cell phone or computer. We really have lost out freedom and privacy.

I have neeb working in the `inrernet domain servers a lot recently and suddenly in a big rush, all the major DNS nodes ARE implementing DNS LOC REVERSE records, which they basically means anyone can look up a SEES.I pen or other gps device and get rhier exact current long/lat coords the planet.

The weird thing is this DNS LOC feature has been part of the softwaer since since 1986 with hardly anyone enabling it, now thwy are poppong up evertwhere, between this and the iPhones patent for landscaping your surroundings, you can hide >.< even hide, lol

I am only guessing, here, but believe that tracking cookies are in the neighborhood of 15-20 years old. There have been pieces of code, which amateur web developers could insert into a page, which would have revealed all this information, ages before FB published this fact.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_degrees_of_separation

Since the days, when the internet was still called a bulletin board, it was never assumed to be perfectly anonymous. If your habits or manner of speech are risqué, it was assumed to be a calculated risk. You’re generally allowed to have free speech, provided that you express no intention to harm yourself, others, or their property, or you don’t incite others to do so.

There is no particular need to be overly personal, either. Think highschool reunion or casual banter. And, yes, you are in public.

Were it not for the outlandish language being used, here, I would have though that noone needed to hear this.

    • DaddyPhantomPhotoTron

Surprise! I knew this was coming years ago, but I dropped facebook for different reasons. Too much information from people I know (and vice versa) was not a blessing, it was a curse. Sometimes it’s best NOT to know what your friends and/or family members are thinking at any given moment.
I notice some people making the point that “If you’re not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about.” In my opinion, that’s missing the point. So if I’m not doing anything wrong, it’s cool that the Police enter my house without a warrant and search the premises? Dig through my personal belongings? Go into my fridge and make a sandwich? I’m not doing anything wrong, so no sweat?
It doesn’t matter whether you’re doing something wrong or not. Your Constitutional rights are being trampled, and you’re accepting it because you’re not doing anything wrong? That philosophy never made any sense to me, but that’s just me.
Facebook just plain sucks and is a waste of time (My opinion of course). Leaving Facebook actually made me more socially responsible. I actually CALL my friends and family more, and it makes me yearn to visit them after not seeing them for months or years on end. I’ve taken more trips home to California, and other places to visit friends that have moved to far off places.
Leaving Facebook has been a blessing in more ways than one, not having my information shared with whoever Facebook chooses to give it to was an inadvertent benefit.

    • UglyMutt

You people really have no clue about social media, I am surprised that you can even tie your shoes and find your way around this evil planet much less the internet. OMG really…. blame yourself because its your fault you even know how to use google. What you do will affect what happens next. You have to agree to the terms of service, you have to set your privacy settings and you have to post in order to have ignorance appear, then you blame the creator of said creation for your actions of stupidity. Get a life and become dangerous.. If you think facebook is helping big government then we have a problem NASA because these cosmonauts are eating moldy bread again and the little pink unicorn is angry and snorting mushroom dust. Time for common sense to wipe these fools off the planet, it’s mother natures job to thin down the herd once again… I, myself can only blame your parents for being stupid for giving birth to you and not raising you with knowledge, maybe they did but you didn’t listen so blame yourself afterall.

    • MG

Comxsocial.net does all this as well. In fact it has 100% privacy controls. It’s based in the USA and is “Artist owned and operated”. No ads, privately owned with privacy as our 1# concern. We are what our url says. We are the community exchange social network. Always free and private. Best of all, you don’t have to relearn anything, it’s log in and resume the fun, without big brother stealing your data. See you on X.

    • Katt Mamma

Seen.is DOES CENSOR!! I kept seeing it recommended as a viable alternative to FB, and it’s pushed as a freedom-loving and privacy-respecting site. Not sure about the privacy, but I joined only to find out it has a juvenile list of censored words that will show up as **** when you try to use them.

Any other TRULY FREEDOM LOVING social network sites starting up?? Please share!

    • Godzilla

I knew about this for a while ago being involved with computers for over 15 years. NSA collects all data regardless if you are a social network junky or not. You just make their life a bit easier since you practically spill beans to everyone complictly. I would rather the ptb put more effort in their new world disorder agenda. I will not make it easy for anyone.

And by the way, I need to point out that google plus and yahoo have been HOUNDING ME for my phone number now FOR TWO YEARS which is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS for so called “security reasons” in case I forget my account credentials and cannot login in or in case someone hacks my account. The odds of this happening to me is less than 10% since I keep records of everything offline.

      • Sun Rabbit

Yeah, I hear ya on that phone number BS. I actually cancelled my Google+ account and in so doing they automatically cancelled my YouTube account. But Yahoo does the same thing with the pestering tactics but I have to keep the Yahoo account because I use it to keep track of my portfolio, because I got multiple brokerage accounts, which I just realised is a security risk as well.
It’s like you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

    • Sun Rabbit

I’ve heard about incidents where people’s lives have been ruined by CIAbook and it’s not just issues relating to marriage or girlfriends/boyfriends. Some people have gotten fired for saying things their employers didn’t like. Some people have been arrested for various things they put up. Never heard of anyone’s life being ruined by e-mail or Skype
I might give that Seen.is site a shot though, although I’d be interested in finding out how many people are on it before I sign up. I guess it can’t be worse than Badoo. Reminds me of that one time a while back when I signed up on a website called something like Austrian singles in New York, and found out there were just 6 other people registered, 4 of whom were guys. And the 2 women were not that good looking.

    • Anonymous

THIS IS HOW WE SPREAD THE WORD HOW CORRUPT OUR GOVERNMENT IS, ALL THE FALSE FLAG LIES, THE CIA MEDIA. WE HAVE NO OTHER WAY TO INFOR OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AS EFFICIENT AS FAST AS THINGS ARE TAKING PLACE. WE NEED FACEBOOK TO WAKE OUR FRIENDS UP.

    • VirusGuard

Facebook just like Google, Twitter , Youtube are controlled by the NSA and make money by selling your information when its not being used by the government to profile you.

If you have a “Smart TV” like my Samsung or Sony and know how to watch what happens as soon as you switch the TV on then you would know that these TV’s all connect to the names i mentioned above and the HTTP requests they make to the NSA spyware servers contain a User-Agent string that lets Google/Facebook know that the device connecting is a Samsung TV.

Your TV also connects to Samsung/Sony and uploads the MAC address of the TV that Samsung built in to the TV when it was made and since they hold the guarantee, they know its you.

All thats left to do is for our NSA freinds at Facebook/Google to do is run a script that sends Samsung or Sony your IP address and then facebook can send them a list of your interests and Samsung/Sony can send them your viewing habbits.

What i am telling you is not fiction, its facts that i have seen with my own eyes and other people are saying the same thing if you look.

You can stop this by blocking the TV’s IP-Address in the routers firewall if you buy your own router because the free ones you get from your ISPs often don’t allow you to block outbound traffic.

Another way is to host your own DNS server and block the “Smart TV’s” from gettng Google/Facebooks IP-Address using the DNS server.

My Sony comes with a little camera built in just in case according to Sony i want to use Skype to talk to my friends, how nice of them to be so concerned for me.

DLNA is also used to scan other machine on the network by these smart TV’s so they can also upload a list of file names stored on your network and you can see this in action if you run Wireshark on a computer thats connected to the same network as your TV.

      >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

    • The Real Deal

Who would have guessed that a story about facebook would have garnered so many views. Almost 600,000 people have read this article which means at least half of them or more read my comment about my breakup over Facebook. Half thought she was right, and some thought i was right. Either way, Facebook is trouble. The government collects data on you.

My breakup not only helped me in my life as i’m now happily single and enjoying the beautiful i meet frequently…but it got me off of that vanity kick i was addicted to; Posting all of my personal information including personal family photos, updates on where i’m eating, personal accomplishments for all to admire thinking i was cool and a hot shot…. when truthfully, nobody cared. And the government got that out of me for free.

      Then i woke up.

It’s already started!I just clicked on a link to a video on Sonic Blue by way of Facebook.A warning from Facebook came up and stated that in order to view the clip I had to agree to let Sonic Blue have my name,My friends list and the current city in which I am living!I declined this and got a virus that would not let me leave the page.
I had to close out my browser in order to get off the web page!

Is this what YOUR God teaches?
Spread fear amongst the sheep when you really are not 100% sure of anything you write.
Did he/she teach you to receive the word from 4th, 5th, 6th party’s mouths?

And then on top of it, take peoples money?

Doesn’t all this make You and Lyn false “prophets” ?

Deep down you must know you are doing wrong…or doing the devils work.
      Do you not care?
Is that why you continue even after several warnings?

Has this been passed on through the generations and will you keep passing it down also?

When you know you do wrong, yet continue to do so….the Gates in front of you lock my dear.

When you find time, you can check out this blog. https://www.facebook.com/notes/colin-bennun/some-stuff-i-found-out-about-how-seenisunseenis-social-network-is-a-scam/10152906279535842 It is an equally disturbing article about SEEN.IS and “Before It’s News”. It only goes to show how hard it is to tweeze out the truth in this world. Our government lies and then we have all of these attention whores and shock jocks filling in the void where the truth should be. I figured I would just wait for January 1st to read the new terms of agreement myself on Facebook, then give it a few more days for the world to discuss the terms before making a decision. Unfortunately, no new terms of agreement have arrived and no bombshell was delivered. I am still waiting. Don’t get me wrong. I like the idea of SEEN.IS, but I don’t see how using sensationalism would help launch it. People’s memories can’t be that short. I also don’t see how this helps “Before It’s News”. Letting everybody have a platform is an interesting concept, but don’t expect people to take you seriously.

    • SkimoNoLikey

Maybe everybody ought to check out this before joining SEEN.IS: https://anonymousworldlegioncouncil.wordpress.com/2014/12/30/danger-seenunseen-owned-by-intelius/

Do you ever speak the truth,it’s now the 3rd Jan and nothing yet what a crock of sht.

    • FadingShadow2

So now it’s January 4th, and FB has NOT ‘dropped a bombshell that will infuriate me’ as you claimed. I’ve noticed that you tend to use highly inflamed headlines on your articles.

    • tardasaurus

well, it`s January 4,2015 and facebook hasn`t dropped any bombshells, I think your magic ball needs new batteries.

I am so done with Facebook! I mean, I always knew the “free” account was not actually free, and that my data was used for advertising. But lately it just has become scarier and scarier. I read the Circle by Dave Eggers and it freaked me out how much of what he wrote is already actuality. Moreover, lately I’ve noticed I log into Facebook, compulsively cheking my notifications but now really enjoying it. Sometimes I even feel depressed by all the sap stories and even jealous when I see all the amazing pictures of adventures of people all around the world. Especially when I’m in my cubicle at my crap job. So why do I keep going back? I mean, how many buzzfeed posts can you click, it doesn’t really bring me anything. A friend of mine snet me this article about quitting Facebook: http://lonemind.com/5-reasons-get-facebook-2015/, and I have decided to do that today. I alo decided to replace the time I WASTE on social media with calling my family, do something nice for my neighbout, take up drawing like I used to love doing. Bye bye Facebook, have a great life. I know I will.

    • joshwho

I recommend a very good alternative to Facebook called BuddyList Social Network. It primarily doesn’t use users info and doesn’t even ask for it. On BuddyList you can use what ever username you like just like how Yahoo Use to be. You don’t have to share anything that is private and none of the things you do on there is collected as data for marketers. You can socialize with out risking your private info and you don’t have to feel like your being spied on any more.

You should at least just check it out before you think its gonna suck like Ello but I think a lot of people are already liking it. Just search “BuddyList Social Network” on Google or any other search engines for more details. I would post the link but I do not want this to seem like spam. I’m just throwing out a idea for any one that is interested.
