Bergdahl: A Lawsuit Against Obama's Pentagon, A Retraction Of Desertion And The Trail Of Lies, Revealed

According to TheHill.com  Bowe Bergdahl was planning to report problems with “order and discipline” in his unit and believed he could not trust his own commanders to deal with them, an unnamed senior defense official told the main stream media. 

According to a report that Army investigators presented to Army Gen. Mark Milley, Bergdahl wasn’t intending to desert his post in Afghanistan, but was trying to walk to the nearest U.S. military post to report problems with “order and discipline” in his unit and could not trust his own commanders to deal with them.

“This was a kid who had leadership concerns on his mind,” a second unnamed official told CNN. “He wasn’t fed up, he wasn’t planning to desert.”   

This comes just after Bergdahl was officially charged with desertion and misbehavior in front of the enemy on March, 25th.  If convicted, Bergdahl could face life in prison.

    The story doesn’t stop there, however.  Back on Oct. 22, 2014  Judicial Watch  requested ”Any and all records of communications, including by not limited to, emails and text messages, from or to (as either a direct recipient, “Cc” or Bcc”) Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel, and the following members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff: the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; the Military Service Chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps; and the Chief of the National Guard Bureau, regarding, concerning, or related to the ‘initial report’ of the Army’s review of the disappearance of Bowe Bergdahl from his post and his subsequent capture by Taliban forces. [If the Commander in Chief sent and received emails regarding Bergdahl, they would be included.] The time frame of the records sought [was] Sept. 1, 2014 to Oct. 28, 2014.”   The Pentagon never responded to these requests.  

    On February 11, 2015, Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) to obtain records related to the “initial report” of the U.S. Army’s review of the disappearance of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.  Surprisingly enough, Obama released a set of rules exempting the executive Office of Administration from the purview of the Freedom of Information Act — meaning it can reject public access to its records.

Why exactly is Obama hiding information on Bergdahl and why is the Administration trying to twist Americans perspective of him into a “heroic” tailspin?  Why has Obama’s choice to once again go over the heads of top lawmakers leave yet another trail of lies and deceit?

    To answer that we have to go back to June 2012, when a Rolling Stone Journalist by the name of Michael Hastings published a ten-thousand word article on Bergdahl, in which he had traveled to Afghanistan to speak to his former platoon mates, violating their gag order to speak to Hastings anonymously.  Hastings had also visited Bergdahl’s parents in Idaho, where he obtained e-mails that revealed Bergdahl’s anti-American sentiments, publishing the emails to his father: “I am ashamed to be an American…The horror that is America is disgusting.”

   The Obama administration in 2012 had “encouraged” his parents to keep their mouths shut. The father, Robert Bergdahl, had gone on a very public crusade, criticizing the Obama administration for killing Afghanistan civilians.  The Obama administration actively sought to keep the lid on Robert Bergdahl and Michael Hastings’ reporting of Bowe Bergdahl, as secret FBI documents now reveal.  The Obama administration was successful at suppressing the fact that Bowe Bergdahl was essentially a traitor and that his father, Robert Bergdahl was not far behind.  Three days before his son was released,Robert Bergdahl tweeted for all Guantanamo Bay prisoners to be released, not just the five Taliban generals.

   Michael Hastings later died after releasing his findings on Bowe Bergdahl. In a video released by the Western Journal, the events surrounding Hastings death are just as alarming as the story he published.  It just goes to show that the Obama administration will go to whatever lengths needed to silence the truth and continue to lie, manipulate and destroy everything America stands for. As for the Obama administration, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) reported that the Obama administration violated “clear and unambiguous” law in trading five high-level terrorist commanders for a single deserter without notifying the appropriate lawmakers. The GAO reported that: “The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 says that all prisoner transfers from Guantanamo Bay require 30 days’ notice to Congress. Such notice was not provided in Bergdahl’s case.”    

    I am absolutely sure Obama will not be held accountable for his actions once again.  Our freedoms and constitutional rights will continue to diminish, until there is nothing left to take and we are all slaves.
