I believe everybody needs to be aware of grounding or as some call it “earthing” because our bodies are being bombarded with every day with energy that is not good for our bodies!   We are all exposed to deadly microwave energy from cell phone towers, satellites and other sources and grounding is a way for our bodies to get back into homeostasis. 

Grounding or Earthing is basically grounding your body to the Earth and thus canceling out most of the bad effects of this electromagnetic energy we are being bathed in constantly.   Now you can do this simply by walking around barefoot on the ground but most people don’t do this anymore.  We wear rubber soled shoes instead of leather soles which conducts to ground.  There’s an entire industry producing ways to ground yourself while you work and sleep or even relax on your sofa with grounding mats and sheets.  These grounding mats have a wire connected to the ground wire of your home’s electrical system which is connected to a rod driven deep into the Earth.   

Check out this neat video where they show you how Earthing helps plants grow, speeds up healing and reduces the built up voltages in the body caused by the electronic smog we live in.  I like the story about the Scandinavian carpenters who always walked on the bare ground before they went to work.  They found out their muscles and tissues would not be harmed after years of tough work swinging hammers if they grounded themselves every day!
