BREAKING! Iran has opened fire on a USA Cargo Ship and detained it taking it to Iranian sea port Bandar Abbas with 34 US Sailors aboard. How much provoking will the US allow? Please pray for our brave soldiers.
WASHINGTON/DUBAI — Iranian naval forces have engaged a commercial ship in the Arabian Gulf.
The ship is not a US-owned vessel and is not believed to be carrying American sailors, though Saudi-owned Al Arabiya reported earlier on Tuesday that 34 US military personnel were aboard the craft.
An Iranian “force” had “opened fired” and seized the US ship and directed it to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, the Saudi report claimed.
The US Fifth Fleet in the Gulf Arab kingdom of Bahrain had no immediate comment on the report.
A Pentagon spokesman said Iranian forces had boarded a Marshall Island-flagged vessel, the MV Maersk Tigris, in the Gulf. He said the boarding occurred after Iranian patrol boats fired shots across the vessel’s bow and ordered it deeper into Iranian waters.
The ship had no US citizens aboard, the spokesman said, contradicting Al-Arabiya’s report which said there were 34 US sailors on board. He said it was traveling through the Strait of Hormuz when the incident occurred.
There was no immediate word from Iranian officials.
Iran has in the past sometimes threatened to block the strait to advance its opposition to sanctions imposed over its nuclear program.
The channel is a narrow strip of water separating Oman and Iran. It connects the biggest Gulf oil producers, such as Saudi Arabia, with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. READ MORE

Indeed. I’m always saddened to see people who claim to be advancing the truth of Christ act without any due diligence on their own part to make sure that what they write and speak is the truth. The truth does not need exaggerations. Iran did not “open fire” on the ship, and it most definitely was not a U.S. ship. It was not even a U.S. flagged ship. It was a Marshall Island’s flagged ship.
So, ALERT! ALERT! WWW3 MAY NOT BE THREATENED JUST YET AFTER ALL! In fact, it might not even turn into a skirmish since the article says the ship was ordered by Iran to turn DEEPER into Iranian waters, which implies the ship was already in Iranian waters, where it is not supposed to be.
Everything here depends (or should depend) on whether the ship was or was not where it was supposed to be.
It is a dangerous presumption to say, “Tomorrow,” when God says, “Today!”
That’s all you were expected to take from the news clip.
The moral of the story is never to be prideful in your wellbeing.
I’m coordinated, active, and just fell in the mud — painfully.
But, what if he was imperfect.

Give me a break! The US threatened Iranian cargo ships operating in international waters on their way to Yemen. When are “christians” going to wise up to the fact that the US, Israel and Saudi Arabia are the “bad guys” in all this?
You purport to be advancing the truth, so why do you create lying headlines. As even the article later clearly states, the ship was NOT a USA ship. What the article below the headline does NOT clarify, making the lies of the headline even worse, is that Iran did NOT open fire on the ship. It fired shots over the bow. To “open fire on the ship” means to shoot at the ship, and Iran deliberately did NOT shoot at the ship.
What Iran did do, according to other stories, which is odd, is order the ship to sail into Iranian waters before boarding it. The crux of the actual story about the Iranian’s seizing the ship should come down to whether or not the ship was in Iranian waters on its own or ode reed into Iranian waters by the Iranian military. If it was in Iranian waters, then Iran did exactly what it should do. If it was not, then Iran was the aggressor.
That’s the story we need to hear.
Most of us, here, are assuming that the event really has to happen, and according to the mainstream narrative, in order to be exploited as the provocation for a war.
Maybe, someone threw rocks at a soured milk carton in a mud puddle, and history will remember it as the USS Hillary, in the Gulf of Trayvon Incident.
This is NOT a USA cargo ship. It is registered under the Marshall Islands, and though we have an agreement with them regarding commerce. Obama will do NOTHING about this.
Why do you always jump to a WW3 conclusion everytime?!?! Yes, US ship with Brits and Asian crew. Not US crew. And possible for another war but no where close at the moment.
