Kerrville, TX Police Officer Fractures Woman’s Jaw (VIDEO)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

In another example of the police taking their sweet time to release video footage that shows excessive force we have the arrest of Rachel L. Wood by Kerrville, TX police officer Roy Alonzo. Back in November of 2014, Alonzo arrested Wood for suspicion of drunk driving. Wood claims in her lawsuit, according to, that Alonzo:

“grabbed her by the arm and violently slammed her face down on the concrete,” fracturing her jaw, damaging teeth and cutting her chin, the suit states.

The incident outside Peterson Regional Medical Center, where she had been taken for a blood draw, was captured by Alonzo’s patrol car video camera, the lawsuit states. Wood was charged with driving while intoxicated and with resisting arrest, search or transport.

The suit claims Alonzo willfully deprived her of her constitutional rights by assaulting her. It seeks reimbursement for medical bills that already top $35,000, plus punitive damages and compensation for pain and suffering.

You can see in the video that Wood isn’t exactly going along with Alonzo’s order, but I think most of us would also agree that her stagger and stumble off course don’t warrant a face slam to the pavement. To make matters worse, Alonzo then added resisting arrest to her charges, because smashing her face wasn’t enough punishment – obviously.

Alonzo isn’t the only heavy-handed officer on duty in Kerrville, TX, because Wood’s attorney, Richard Ellison, has another client claiming excessive force against KPD officers. In the same article:

Her attorney is representing Wesley Fife, 27, a local man who filed a civil rights suit Feb. 23 against Officers Harry Holt Jr. and Ryan Cockrell over a Jan. 14, 2014 arrest.

Reports by both officers say Holt punched Fife in the head to gain compliance when Fife resisted being handcuffed after he was stopped while leaving a party on foot.

That’s right:  when Fife resisted being detained while WALKING the officers decided to “punch him in the head to gain compliance.” Of course he caught a resisting arrest charge–one that should have never happened–as well. The city plans to fight the cases with taxpayer money even though in Fife’s case one of the officers, Holt, was later fired for failing to complete a “performance improvement plan.” Could it be anymore ridiculous?

Law Oppression is a tough Job. Royalty Class Privilege isn’t Free and must be Maintained and protected and preserved for Govt Officials through brute enFORCEment to keep the funders in full submission. You let one funder get out of line or uppity and that just encourages others. It’s a full time job keeping you people oppressed under RULE OF LAW.
