Citadel Suspends Students For Wearing KKK-like Masks [Picture]

Despite claiming that those involved in the incident were supposed to be portraying some form of skit for Christmas, South Carolina’s military college, The Citadel, has suspended cadets who were pictured wearing white pillowcases over their heads.

The images uploaded on social media show 8 cadets, one of whom is an upperclassman, dressed in all white in similar fashion to the Ku Klux Klan. They were reported by a black woman who allegedly rebuffed a man who was making advances to her on social media, according to NPR.org.

The man allegedly contacted the woman on Snapchat with the line “I always wanted a black girl,” Charleston’s ABC 4 News reported. Although the woman turned down his advances, she noticed his account included images of white men, dressed in white hoods, with the eyeholes cut out.                source
